Staying at Only YOU Hotel Atocha was a great experience overall, mainly because of its unbeatable location. Right across from Atocha Station, it’s impossible to miss—just step out and you’re there. However, one thing to note is that the street in front of the hotel is under construction, which means constant noise from machinery until around 10 PM. I was surprised how late workers kept going—thought Spanish schedules were earlier, but clearly not here! The room size is standard for a city-center hotel, nothing fancy, but clean and well-maintained. Breakfast, added for €22, was surprisingly good and offered solid value considering the hotel’s category. It’s definitely worth the extra cost if you’re looking for a quality start to your day. That said, if peace and quiet are priorities—or if you plan to spend most of your time relaxing in the room—I’d recommend waiting until the construction finishes. For all else, this is a strong choice with excellent access and a nice balance of comfort and affordability.
