Staying at Greet Inn in Kaohsiung was an absolute delight! The hotel is just a short walk from Qianjin Station, making public transportation incredibly convenient. It’s only about 10 minutes on foot to the famous Liuhe Night Market—perfect for evening strolls and local eats. Getting to the airport takes roughly 30–40 minutes by car or taxi, which is very manageable. The location is unbeatable, especially with a FamilyMart right downstairs—great for late-night snacks or essentials without having to leave the building. The front desk staff were friendly and always ready to help, whether it was grabbing water or answering questions. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with a separate bathroom and shower area—so practical and comfortable. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully done. I’d definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if I’m back in Kaohsiung.

The location is fantastic—just a 20-minute walk to Pier-2 Art District, making it easy to explore the area without needing a car. On our second morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by how many guests were staying there—so many people enjoying the same great vibe! It’s clear this place has earned its reputation. With its unbeatable views, thoughtful design, and central spot in Kaohsiung, it’s definitely a top choice if you’re looking for a memorable stay. I’d absolutely come back.

There’s also an on-site laundry machine, which is super convenient for longer stays or travelers needing to freshen up clothes. Location-wise, it’s ideal—right next to both MRT and light rail stations, making it easy to explore downtown Kaohsiung. On the second floor, there’s a popcorn machine and a hot coffee maker—perfect for a quick caffeine fix in the morning. I rented a bike and rode down to Love River Pier, enjoying the scenic riverside views at night. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of options, fresh and tasty. We attended an event and booked both a hotel room and a car camping double room—both included breakfast at the hotel, which was delicious and well-balanced with fresh options. The location made everything so convenient: the entrance and exit were close by, and parking was never an issue, even with luggage or gear. We appreciated how easy it was to come and go without stress. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, with excellent service throughout. It’s a great value for the quality, and we’ll definitely be back again soon.

I arrived just in time for a language exchange event happening in the common area—so lively and welcoming! The hostel is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the metro station, and across the street is a cozy little night market perfect for late-night snacks. Rooms and shared spaces were spotless, and they even offered complimentary breakfast with fresh toast and tea—especially loved the coconut jam, it’s rich and naturally sweet. The only minor issue was my top bunk being right next to the AC unit; while no direct cold wind blew on me, there was some condensation dripping onto both the bed and the cabinet above. It wasn’t a big deal though—it didn’t affect my sleep much. Overall, this place offers excellent value, great vibes, and a warm atmosphere. Definitely a standout choice if you're visiting Kaohsiung.

I stayed at Ling Inn in Kaohsiung, and overall, the experience was just average. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the metro station, which is great for exploring the city. However, the room is on the second floor of a corrugated metal building, giving it a somewhat basic and dated feel. The main issue was the hot water—while it heated up quickly, it ran out within minutes and the flow was quite weak, making showering a bit frustrating. I also noticed some cleanliness concerns: there were visible dust marks on the desk and bathroom counter, and the shower floor still had damp spots after use. It’s clear that housekeeping could use more attention. While this place might work for budget travelers who don’t mind simplicity, those looking for comfort and better hygiene should consider other options. Not bad for the price, but definitely not memorable.

Room amenities were mostly top-notch—especially the bidet toilet, which made mornings much more comfortable. The only minor issue was a slightly loose shower arm, but it didn’t affect the overall comfort. Clean, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere make this hotel a standout choice. If you're looking for a cozy, centrally located stay with great value, I highly recommend giving Tenz Go Hotel a try.

Also, using the bathtub tends to increase humidity in the room, so airing it out afterward is recommended. Despite these small quirks, the location is fantastic—just a short walk from the lively night market and surrounded by plenty of dining options. Public transportation access is convenient, and everything feels well-connected. For the price and quality, this place offers excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again.

The only downsides are the lack of an elevator and on-site parking, but the platform does offer parking fee reimbursement, so you just need to find a nearby street parking spot or lot.
