The only accommodation on Sisters' Island is Sisters' Island Resort, offering unique beachfront bungalows and private access to the island's pristine sands. Designed with eco-friendly principles, the resort features wooden cabins, a floating pool, and a stargazing deck, perfect for unwinding amidst tropical nature. Guests reach the island via a 30-minute speedboat from Singapore Harbour, with some packages including transfers. Due to limited capacity and no vehicle access, bookings should be made well in advance.

For those seeking added convenience, nearby Sentosa Island hosts luxury options like the Hyatt Regency Sentosa, which provides direct ferry connections to Sisters' Island. This makes it ideal for travelers wanting to blend urban amenities with island serenity.

The primary way to reach Sisters' Island is by speedboat or ferry from Singapore Harbour, taking about 30 minutes. Speedboats offer faster travel and fewer departures, ideal for time-conscious travelers, while ferries operated by local tour companies often include guided tours, perfect for those seeking immersive experiences. HopeGoo in advance through official tourism platforms or travel agencies is recommended, especially during weekends and holidays due to high demand.

Vehicles are not allowed on the island, so all luggage must be carried by hand or via pushcart—pack light and wear comfortable footwear. For added convenience, some resorts on Sentosa offer dedicated shuttle boats to Sisters' Island as part of integrated packages, combining transport, snorkeling, and guided walks into one seamless experience.

Sisters' Island is renowned for its pristine shoreline and vibrant marine life, making these activities essential:

  • Snorkeling Adventure: Explore coral reefs teeming with clownfish, butterflyfish, and other tropical species. Rental gear is available at designated safe zones.

  • Island Trail Hiking: A 2-kilometer loop winds through tropical jungle and sandy beaches, offering sightings of mangroves and native birds—best enjoyed at sunrise or sunset.

  • Sunset Viewing: The western beach offers unobstructed views of Singapore’s skyline blending with golden twilight hues—perfect for photography and quiet reflection.

  • Eco-Tours: Local operators provide guided nature walks led by certified naturalists, sharing insights on flora, intertidal creatures, and conservation efforts.

Note: Camping, open fires, and single-use plastics are prohibited. Bring reusable water bottles and trash bags to help preserve this fragile ecosystem.

Sisters' Island is ideal for family visits due to its quiet, safe, and natural environment with no vehicle traffic. Designated shallow snorkeling zones feature clear, calm waters perfect for kids to explore marine life under parental supervision. The island trail is flat and wide, stroller-friendly, with benches and signage along the way.

Some tour packages include children’s eco-workshops such as identifying tide pool creatures and crafting natural floaters—engaging and educational. While there are no restaurants, visitors can bring simple food and enjoy picnics at designated areas. Parents should pack sunscreen, insect repellent, and ample drinking water, and follow the "leave no trace" principle to protect the island’s delicate ecosystem.

The Barracks Hotel Sentosa by Far East Hospitality

Staying at The Barracks Hotel Sentosa by Far East Hospitality on Sentosa Island was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail and warm hospitality stood out—especially since this charming boutique hotel is housed in a beautifully restored military barracks with real historical charm. The property is intentionally small, which adds to its intimate and exclusive feel. We arrived earlier than check-in time, but were happily welcomed with early access and a personal check-in experience. The afternoon lounge offering during 'Happy Hours' was simply fantastic—endless drinks, cocktails, signature bar bites, and a well-curated menu that exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was pre-ordered, so everything was fresh and served just right, avoiding any waste. The atmosphere is quiet, elegant, and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. Located just steps from the island’s main attractions and easily accessible by public transit, it's both convenient and serene. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a memorable stay with genuine care and character. I’ll definitely be back.

Oasia Resort Sentosa by Far East Hospitality

Staying at Oasia Resort Sentosa by Far East Hospitality was a delightful experience. The hotel is quiet and cozy, with only three floors, which makes it feel more intimate and less crowded—perfect for travelers who value peace and privacy. Located right between Resorts World and the beach, it's incredibly convenient whether you're heading out for entertainment or just to relax on the sand. My room had a bathtub, but there was a small leak issue—I reported it, and staff responded immediately with a friendly and professional attitude, resolving everything quickly. On-site amenities include a lovely pool and fitness center on the ground floor, plus a shuttle bus from the basement that connects easily to nearby attractions. The overall vibe is calm yet well-connected, making it ideal for a stress-free getaway. I’d definitely stay here again.

The Outpost Hotel Sentosa by Far East Hospitality

The hotel's ambiance is absolutely fantastic—clean, modern, and well-maintained. It’s just a short walk to the nearest MRT station, making it super convenient for getting to the beach or Vivo City. The pool area is spacious and inviting, with great lighting and a peaceful vibe that makes it perfect for relaxing after a day out. One small note: the bathroom ventilation could be better—after a shower, the mirror fogs up and humidity lingers, requiring a lower room temperature and strong fan use to dry out. But honestly, this is a minor issue in an otherwise excellent stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile. And if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of a peacock wandering through the garden from your window—a truly unexpected and delightful surprise. Overall, the experience was top-notch, and I’d definitely recommend this place for both leisure and business travelers.

Harbour Ville Hotel

Staying at Harbour Ville Hotel was a fantastic experience! It's an excellent budget-friendly option with a great location—just a short walk from the MRT station, making it super convenient for exploring Singapore. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. What really stood out was the amazing customer service: after my sister accidentally left her dental floss behind, I reached out via email, and the front desk team not only responded promptly but also helped retrieve the item after check-out. That level of care and attention to detail truly made a difference. The housekeeping staff and front desk were both professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers looking for value, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality.

Amara Sanctuary Sentosa

Staying at Amara Sanctuary Sentosa was an absolute delight from start to finish. The facilities are well-equipped with complimentary snacks and chilled drinks, plus clean tap water—no need to worry about bottled water. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the property; everything felt fresh and hygienic, which made me feel completely at ease. The natural surroundings are stunning—lush greenery, ocean views, and a peaceful ambiance that truly makes you feel like you're escaping the city. Service-wise, while the Chinese-speaking front desk isn’t always on duty, the English-speaking staff were incredibly helpful. Though they used translation tools at times, their warm attitude and willingness to assist made up for it—especially the friendly team members who went the extra mile. One thing worth noting: there’s a shuttle bus from Vivocity directly to the hotel, but we initially missed the pickup point due to lack of clear signage—maybe add more visible markers next time. Also, the $30 dining credit at the second-floor restaurant was a nice touch. Food quality was good—fresh, clean, and well-prepared. Flavors may vary by personal taste, but overall it’s a solid choice for a quick meal. All in all, this stay delivered excellent value, comfort, and relaxation. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a serene retreat with great service and thoughtful touches.

Resorts World Sentosa - Equarius Hotel

The atmosphere here is wonderfully peaceful and natural—perfect for unwinding. The balcony is covered, so you’re always dry even when it rains, which makes relaxing out there extra enjoyable. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful—whether it’s the ushers or front desk agents, they go above and beyond to assist. While not all front desk staff speak fluent Chinese, their willingness to help still stands out. One moment I’ll never forget is talking to a receptionist named Jitsin about getting to Siloso Beach. He patiently explained the entire shuttle route, including transfer points and timing, with such clarity that I felt completely confident navigating on my own. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, well-presented, and served in a beautiful setting. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations. Resorts World Sentosa - Hard Rock Hotel

I was a bit nervous when booking, having read so many negative reviews online. But the moment I arrived at the hotel, everything turned around in the best way possible. The Indian front desk staff were incredibly friendly—when they saw our group of six, they immediately upgraded us to connecting rooms on a higher floor and even surprised the kids with little toys. The room itself has a dark, stylish design, but surprisingly great natural light. The twin-bed room comes with a balcony, while the king bed room doesn’t—but it features a spacious soft lounge area that’s perfect for relaxing. Two power adapters are provided, and the minibar and snacks were complimentary during our first round. I really loved the pool area—it's spacious, well-maintained, and feels very inviting. A quick tip: most restaurants inside Resorts World Sentosa close by 8 PM, so plan dinner early. We ended up at one of the few open spots—Putian—only to find out they don’t allow à la carte ordering; only full meal sets (around SGD 350–400), plus drinks, taxes, and service fees brought our total to nearly 2,500 RMB. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the price. Afterward, I noticed many guests were using Grab for room service—definitely a smarter move if you want convenience without the stress.

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore

The overall experience was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning views—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Great for families with kids, as there are plenty of activities and kid-friendly areas that kept them entertained throughout the stay. Breakfast was exceptional—huge variety, delicious options from all around the world, and every bite was satisfying. A highlight was the nearby Italian restaurant Trapizza—authentic, well-prepared pizza with a perfect crust and rich flavors. It’s definitely worth a visit. The only minor downside was the check-in queue, which took a bit longer than expected, but the staff were friendly and efficient despite the wait. Overall, this hotel delivers an outstanding value and unforgettable stay. I’d gladly come back again.
