Manxin Mansion Nanjing Confucius Temple Laomendong

Staying at Manxin Mansion Nanjing Confucius Temple Laomendong was such a delightful experience—seriously, it’s the perfect balance of city buzz and peaceful retreat. Located just steps from Yuhua Men Metro Station, everything I wanted to see was within a 10-15 minute walk: Laomendong Ancient Street, Da Baoren Temple, and the Luozhou Park Lantern Festival were all super accessible. I booked the Courtyard King Room, and wow—the view from the window felt like having my own private garden. The room itself was beautifully designed with smart tech and high-end finishes, plus a complimentary mini-bar. The front desk even has a resident cat—adorable and so welcoming! The garden area is serene and perfect for sipping tea or just relaxing while watching the river and ancient city walls. Staff were incredibly warm and attentive—service that truly feels personal, almost like a five-star hotel. Free Song-style afternoon tea? Yes, please! And the late-night snack pack was a nice surprise—just a simple bowl of congee with pickled vegetables, comforting and satisfying. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding—full of authentic Nanjing flavors. The small duck oil sesame sugar bao was deliciously fragrant, the salted duck was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh egg pancake was healthy and scrumptious. Don’t miss the freshly ground black sesame paste—it’s rich, aromatic, and pure comfort. Every detail here screams quality and thoughtfulness. This place isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanjing.

Every detail mattered: the heated toilet seat was a game-changer, and the inclusion of disinfectant wipes showed real thoughtfulness. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional—the guy behind the counter was not only handsome but genuinely warm and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay effortless. From the ambiance to the service, everything was top-notch. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Night Mooring Qinhuai · Taifu Tower Hotel (Nanjing Confucius Temple Old Gate East Branch)

The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city yet surprisingly peaceful. Stepping outside, you're greeted by the towering ancient city wall, which is truly breathtaking. What surprised me most was how easy parking was—both inside the courtyard and beneath the wall. Perfect for travelers driving their own car. I originally booked a deluxe king room, but the friendly front desk staff upgraded me to a spacious suite with no hesitation. The room was immaculate, clean, and very comfortable. Huge thanks to the two front desk attendants—they were professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Their recommendations for local attractions and must-try snacks were spot-on and incredibly useful. Atour Hotel Nanjing Presidential Palace

We stayed in Nanjing for five nights, and after two less-than-satisfying days elsewhere, we switched to this hotel for the last three—and it was a perfect upgrade. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotlessly clean, and all amenities were modern and well-maintained. One small but thoughtful touch: there’s a display on the TV showing how many washing machines are available at any time, so you don’t waste time walking down only to find them all in use. That little detail made laundry day stress-free. The location is fantastic—right next to Liu Chang Xing for great local food, and just a short walk from key attractions like the Presidential Palace, Six Dynasties Museum, Piliu Temple, and the Comfort Station Exhibition Hall. We didn’t get a chance to visit the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre this time, but I’m already planning a return trip—definitely coming back here. Oh, and while booking through the platform, it mentioned complimentary late-night porridge. We didn’t ask for it, so we missed out—but if you’re staying here, don’t forget to request it! It’s a nice surprise worth taking advantage of.

Guoxin Hotel

Staying at Guoxin Hotel in Nanjing was an absolute delight. Located just steps away from deji Plaza, with the metro station conveniently underground right next to it, getting around to major attractions like Daxinggong, Confucius Temple, and the Presidential Palace was incredibly easy. The hotel has been recently renovated—everything feels fresh, clean, and comfortable. The room featured a smart toilet and a heated towel rail, which added a nice touch of modern convenience. I booked through a platform, and upon arrival, the front desk staff had already turned on the heating because of the sudden cold snap. They even noticed we came from the south and deliberately gave us a south-facing room with morning sunlight—such thoughtful attention to detail. There was a welcome drink in the mini-fridge, and since we were visiting Nanjing for tourism, they provided a helpful guide with tips on reaching key sights. Late at night, when our bottled water ran out, I called the front desk and within minutes, a robot delivered a new one right to our door—super efficient! Even more touching: when the staff spotted my birthday date on my ID, they surprised me with a small gift. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Across the street, there are plenty of dining options—our breakfast was at Lao Hun Dun, where we enjoyed authentic Nanjing wontons and crispy little pancakes that were delicious. This stay exceeded expectations. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Nanjing—it’s not just convenient, it’s full of heart and excellent service.
