When I asked about my complimentary VIP drinks, instead of offering a simple explanation or a smile, he quickly scanned my card and pointed silently toward the bar with no courtesy. The stark contrast between the two interactions left me feeling uncomfortable and undervalued. A little kindness—a thank you, a smile, even a brief inquiry about how my stay was—could have made all the difference. It’s disappointing when such a great property is let down by a single negative interaction. I did have to pay €15 for overnight parking, but given how central the hotel is and the excellent amenities, it’s totally worth it. If you’re visiting Marseille, this is definitely a top choice.

The breakfast was decent—not fancy, but satisfying and well-balanced. For airport transfers, taxis are readily available and can pull up almost directly at the entrance. Using Bolt to the airport cost around €30–40, and since we left early in the morning with no traffic, the ride took just 30 minutes. One small downside? No safe or mini-fridge in the room—something that would’ve made things more comfortable. Still, overall, this hotel exceeded expectations, especially for travelers who prioritize location, safety, and ease of access. Highly recommended.
