The second-floor restaurant, KOROVA, stood out with its standout menu: a delicious appetizer, creamy mushroom soup, juicy lamb burger with fries, warm bread, borscht, and a sizzling beef tongue dish—all for 4,200 rubles. That’s an incredible value compared to other hotel dining options. What really impressed me was the staff—waitress spoke fluent English, which made a huge difference when I didn’t know a single word of Russian. It’s rare to find such thoughtful service in a self-operated hotel restaurant, but this one truly delivers. Highly recommended for both comfort and authenticity.

The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you're staying longer, cooking your own meals is totally doable. Overall, the experience was outstanding. U Fontana Hotel
I booked two adjacent upgraded rooms over the phone, but upon check-in, I was given standard rooms instead—no idea if I misunderstood or not, but at least I saved 400 rubles! Parking is only secured after check-in and payment are completed. I asked if I could leave my car in the parking lot for a few hours after checkout, and the first front desk agent said yes, since it’s off-season. The next morning, however, another agent flatly refused. After some back-and-forth, they finally agreed—but only until 2 PM. Honestly, this kind of inconsistency is baffling. There were plenty of empty spots available, so why make things difficult? I’ve stayed at many hotels before, even those with limited parking, and never had issues with post-checkout parking. This one seems to prioritize rules over guest convenience, especially when there’s clearly space. It felt more like showing who’s in charge rather than providing good service.
