A quick heads-up: rideshare services like Uber or taxis will drop you off at the back entrance on a different street, so make sure to share the exact address with your driver to avoid confusion. Also, the platform sends email instructions to access the unit, and payment is required two weeks prior to arrival—not upon check-in as some might assume. Additionally, another service (Supehog) will email separately to collect the damage waiver fee. It would be helpful if this info were clearly listed in the booking instructions. Overall, I’d highly recommend this property in Bakoven for travelers looking to stay within walking distance of Camp’s Bay during daylight hours.
