Staying at SilkTree Hotel in Kunming was an absolute delight from start to finish. The building itself has a modern, elegant vibe with a spacious and beautifully designed lobby that makes a great first impression. Parking is convenient and private—no stress finding a spot. The rooms were immaculate, spotlessly clean with brand-new amenities throughout—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Staff went above and beyond: friendly, professional, and always ready to help. From front desk to housekeeping and dining staff, everyone showed genuine warmth and attentiveness. Breakfast was a highlight—great mix of Western and Chinese options, presented beautifully and tasting even better. I especially loved the Hometown Rice Noodle soup—it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Plus, we received complimentary welcome fruit and a 18-yuan voucher for their signature dish, plus free snacks in the mini-bar. Such thoughtful touches make a big difference. This hotel offers incredible value and comfort. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kunming.
