AC Hotel Beverly Hills
Staying at the AC Hotel Beverly Hills was an absolute highlight of my trip to LA. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had excellent soundproofing—no noise from the hallway or street, which made for a peaceful night's sleep. The blackout curtains were a game-changer, especially with early morning wake-ups. The shower setup is modern and powerful, delivering consistent water pressure that made my morning routine so relaxing. What really stood out was the value: $2,200 HKD in this area of Beverly Hills is surprisingly affordable. A quick Uber ride to Rodeo Drive cost just $12—super convenient. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout check-in and check-out. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to LA and would recommend it without hesitation.

The Gold-Diggers Hotel offers a truly unique experience with impeccable service and a room that’s both quirky and incredibly comfortable. While the location isn’t in the heart of downtown and there’s some street noise to be aware of, it’s definitely more suited to younger travelers—still, my partner and I (both in our 60s) had a wonderful stay. We were here for a specific reason, so we couldn’t fully enjoy all the warm hospitality the staff offered—but that just means we’ll be back another time. The little touches throughout the property show how much care goes into making guests feel welcome. It’s clear this is a well-loved, thoughtfully run place with real character.

The room was absolutely huge and spotlessly clean—truly impressive! The elevator was out of service, so I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal. There was a hairdryer in the room, so no inconvenience at all. The location is excellent—just a short metro ride from downtown LA, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Overall, an amazing stay with great value, and I’d definitely book again.

Staying at Palihotel Melrose felt like coming home—cozy, welcoming, and full of character. While it’s not a luxury hotel, the attention to detail and personal service more than make up for any lack of extravagance. Special thanks to Evan for his warm hospitality and helpful recommendations throughout our visit. The rooms are compact, so packing light is definitely the way to go. With no closet or dresser, you’ll need to get creative with storage, but that just adds to the intimate, lived-in vibe. It’s perfect for travelers who value charm over space. I’d absolutely stay here again—it’s a hidden gem in Los Angeles.

Staying at this hotel was a great experience overall. The room was small but very clean and well-maintained, with all the essentials you'd expect. What really stood out was the location—just a 20-minute drive from LAX, making airport transfers super convenient, especially for early flights or late arrivals. Public transportation is also easy to access, which adds to the appeal if you're exploring downtown LA. The only downside is the parking fee at $33 per day, which is on the higher side. However, given how close it is to the airport and how hassle-free the commute is, it's still worth it. If you're looking for a reliable, no-frills option near the airport with good cleanliness and smart location, this one’s definitely worth considering.

A fantastic Mexican food truck right around the corner from the gas station—authentic flavors and great value, definitely worth a visit. There’s a construction site nearby, but we only heard it early in the morning, so it wasn’t disruptive. We had a wonderful time exploring LA and relaxing at this cozy, convenient home base. Highly recommend for travelers who want comfort, location, and local charm.

The unit was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free trip. From the cozy living area to the well-equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The free parking was a huge plus, especially since we were driving around town. Being just steps away from public transit and all the local hotspots made exploring LA so convenient. Overall, this experience exceeded our expectations—great quality, great location, and excellent service. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Los Angeles, and I’ll definitely be booking again.
