This has been the worst travel experience in over a decade. I didn’t even make it past the front door—just walking in, the place felt dead and unclean. The room was filthy, dusty, and clearly hadn’t been properly maintained. No energy, no hospitality, just an eerie silence. I left immediately without checking in. Honestly, it’s not just disappointing—it’s a complete waste of time and money. I’ve stayed in many hostels around the world, but this one stands out for all the wrong reasons. Would never recommend or come back.

The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming! The beds are on the smaller side, but perfect for solo travelers. If you're comfortable sharing a space with others, this is truly one of the best accommodations I've stayed at. The bedding is kept clean and fresh, which shows great attention to detail. One small note: since towels aren't automatically replaced, it might feel awkward to ask for more each time—so if you're someone who uses a lot of towels, bringing your own is a smart move. Overall, the vibe is cozy, the location is convenient, and the value is outstanding. A real gem for budget-conscious travelers who appreciate a warm, homey feel.

InterContinental - Los Angeles Downtown
First day in LA, and staying at this InterContinental was an absolute surprise! I was assigned to the 61st floor with a stunning city view—so much better than expected. The location is perfect: walking distance to convenience stores and fast food spots, and public transit is just around the corner. Sadly, my tight schedule meant I didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but the amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch. What really stood out was the value for money—this price for a high-floor room with such great views? Definitely worth it. A small downside: the lobby is on the 70th floor, so you have to take the elevator up there first, then go down to your room—slightly inconvenient. Also, valet parking comes with an extra fee of about $80 per night, which pushes the total cost close to $250 for the room alone. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was fantastic. I’d absolutely stay here again.
