We stayed in a family room with four beds—perfect for our family of three, and the space was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: just a 5-minute walk to Museum Station, with direct train access to the airport, and another 5-minute stroll leads straight to a large shopping complex near Chinatown. Being right in the heart of the city means you can easily walk to all major attractions. We tried the breakfast buffet for $29 AUD per person—it included a full English breakfast with a great variety of fresh food, and honestly, it’s way more affordable than grabbing something similar from a café. The rooftop pool and fitness center looked inviting, though we didn’t get a chance to use them. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. This place is ideal for families traveling with kids and highly recommended for a stress-free, convenient stay in Sydney.

Staying at Orange Stay Apartments Potts Point was a solid choice, especially for the location. The building is just steps away from King Cross Metro station, with a bus stop right outside—perfect for getting around Sydney. The area itself is vibrant, packed with diverse restaurants, local markets, and shops, making daily life super convenient. The apartment had a smart access system with magnetic key cards for both the main door and elevator. We were in a two-bedroom unit: the larger bedroom had a built-in wardrobe and a private balcony—great for relaxing. However, the second bedroom wasn’t ideal; it was separated from the living area by a partial wall that didn’t reach the ceiling, and there was only one narrow shelf for clothes. Plus, it faced a very noisy street, so we had to keep the window closed most of the time. The open-plan living-dining area included a full kitchenette, and the bathroom came with a shower. Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. Cleaning was done weekly, and while not daily, they provided essentials like toiletries, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Since there’s no front desk, we coordinated our check-in time directly with the onsite manager who gave us his contact number. For checkout, we simply left the keys inside the unit and walked out—no hassle at all. The rate was the highest among all my accommodations in Australia, but considering Sydney’s premium pricing and prime location, it felt justified. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you value convenience, great transport links, and a central base in a lively neighborhood.

Perfect for a family getaway! We stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite that comfortably accommodated our family of four. The room was incredibly well-equipped—washing machine and dryer combo, ample closet space with plenty of hangers, a full kitchen including oven, microwave, complete cookware (pots, pans, utensils, cutting boards), and even a dishwasher. They even stocked vitamin C supplements—such a thoughtful touch for families. The lobby area is fantastic too: board games, coffee machine, and tea service make it a great spot for kids to relax while parents unwind. Location-wise, everything we needed was within walking distance—just 1.1 km to St. Mary’s Cathedral, Hyde Park, and the Australian Museum. A supermarket is about 800 meters away, perfect for grabbing fresh fruit or snacks. And during Christmas, they surprised us with candy and festive socks—so sweet and memorable! If we ever return to Sydney, this will be our top choice again.
