Getting to District 1 by taxi was quick and easy, making it perfect for exploring the city. This place offers excellent value and has become my go-to when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

I’ve stayed at Windsor Plaza Hotel for three consecutive Christmas seasons in Ho Chi Minh City, and it’s become my go-to choice. The location is fantastic—right across from Ben Thanh Market, so shopping for local snacks or souvenirs is super easy. Plus, there’s a 7-Eleven right outside the front door, which is super convenient when you’re tired or want a late-night snack. The staff are always friendly and helpful, making check-in and daily interactions a breeze. The room is spacious and well-designed, with plenty of room to move around—definitely more than expected for the price. It’s such a great value for money compared to other hotels in the area. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip. This hotel has truly become part of my Christmas tradition in Ho Chi Minh City.

My family member with allergies didn’t have any issues, which was a big relief. But the real standout? The service. From the moment we arrived, staff went above and beyond. Vincent at reception handled everything—from currency exchange and water delivery to helping us track down Grab food orders—with patience and genuine warmth, even when I know I might’ve been a bit of a hassle. Other team members were equally professional, fluent in English, and always ready to assist. What really impressed me was the dedicated staff at the entrance—they opened doors, checked seats for forgotten items, and responded instantly—within seconds of touching luggage, they were already taking it over. Even when I pulled out my phone to take a selfie, someone was already asking if they could help. This level of attentiveness and foresight makes this hotel one of the best experiences I’ve had in Ho Chi Minh City.
