The Westin Seattle
Our short stay at The Westin Seattle turned out to be a perfect little escape in the heart of the city. We arrived late and decided to stop by for just one night, but ended up loving every moment. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just steps away from downtown and only a quick walk to Demetrius Jazz Alley, where we enjoyed a memorable dinner surrounded by live jazz music. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the meal was absolutely delicious. But what really stood out was the room—the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep after a long day exploring. From the welcoming staff to the thoughtful touches throughout the property, this was an exceptional experience. I’d definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Seattle.

Staying right next to my daughter's dorm was a huge plus, especially when our flight got delayed and we had to book last minute. The hotel exceeded expectations despite a slightly basic bathroom — everything else was top-notch. I absolutely loved the artwork on the first floor; it gave the space such a unique, vibrant vibe. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Being so close to campus made everything super convenient. Overall, an excellent choice for both business and family visits. Would definitely come back.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a private underground parking garage—convenient and secure. While the daily parking fee is $25, it's actually quite reasonable for downtown Seattle. Location-wise, it’s perfect if you’re visiting the Space Needle or exploring the city center—everything is within walking distance. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and safe the area felt, with very few homeless people around. Breakfast options weren’t extensive, but they covered the basics of a typical American breakfast—eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee—so it was satisfying. One tip: if you’re sensitive to noise, avoid rooms facing the street, as traffic can be noticeable at night. We opted for a quieter side room, and it made all the difference—peaceful and restful. Overall, great value, excellent service, and a fantastic stay!

The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown, steps away from Pioneer Square, shopping, dining, and major attractions. Walking to the waterfront or public transit was a breeze. This hotel offers excellent value for the quality and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Seattle.

I chose to stay near the University of Washington because I’d heard the downtown area isn’t the safest, and honestly, this was one of my best decisions. The College Inn Hotel feels just like a college dorm from an American TV show—clean, cozy, and full of charm. The European-style decor adds a nice touch, and it’s super convenient for exploring campus and nearby spots. The only thing to note is that our luggage was quite bulky, and without an elevator, carrying it up the stairs was a bit of a challenge—definitely need some stamina! But overall, the experience was fantastic. Great value, excellent location, and a really welcoming vibe. I’d definitely book here again.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle Convention Center Pike Street
I stayed here for a five-night work trip, and overall it was a decent experience. The rooms are fairly spacious with full kitchens and even a balcony—though there’s some variation in size between units. My room was on the 9th floor, which meant taking the main elevator to the 8th, walking down the middle of the floor, then transferring to another elevator to go up one more level—slightly inconvenient but manageable. I had a portable fan in the room, which made me wonder if the AC was acting up at times (my coworkers didn’t have one), but it actually helped mask nighttime noise. On check-in day, the front desk agent wrote the wrong room number on my key card. I went straight to the room, tried to use the key, but it wouldn’t open. I called the front desk from the hallway courtesy phone and found out the error—luckily just a small mix-up that could’ve been awkward. Housekeeping tends to leave freshly changed linens piled up in hallways, so if you arrive early, you’ll need to step carefully around the bedding mess. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and the waterfront Public Market—great for exploring after work. I felt safe walking around during the day, though I can see how some might feel differently at night. Every Wednesday, the hotel hosts a mini happy hour in the buffet area—nice touch. It’s also directly across from the convention center, making it ideal for business travelers. On my last night (Friday), the hotel got busier, and a party started next door. Even after security asked them to quiet down, I could still hear drawers slamming, shelves rattling, and doors banging all night. But since I was leaving early the next morning, I just dealt with it. Overall, the price was fair, and its central location made everything easy to access. If I’m back in Seattle for work, I’d definitely consider staying here again.
