Guangzhou Atour Hotel(Zhujiang New Town Wuyangcun Subway Station)

Stayed through the platform and had my first experience with Atour — completely exceeded expectations! The hotel is well-equipped with modern amenities, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. To our surprise, they upgraded our room at no extra cost — such a nice touch! Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient: just a short walk from the subway station, and you can reach the U.S. Consulate in just one stop. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a Hualian Supermarket right around the corner for snacks and essentials. Everything is within easy reach, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Guangzhou.

The location is unbeatable: the hotel is literally steps away from Guangzhou Tower, and our room had a direct view of the iconic landmark. We took our kids to the tower, enjoyed a relaxing cruise along the Pearl River, and explored the APM line light rail—all within walking distance. There are also countless dining options right downstairs, so we never had to go far for a good meal. We spent the whole day exploring without feeling tired at all. I’d absolutely stay here again if I return to Guangzhou, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

The front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient; even though we arrived early, they went the extra mile to secure us a room promptly. The bellhop and housekeeping team were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcome. Our room was larger than expected, with a sleek modern minimalist design, spotless cleanliness, and incredibly comfortable bedding—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a well-designed wet/dry separation, and the water pressure and temperature were consistently excellent. Bonus points for the complimentary minibar and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a highlight—diverse options blending Chinese and Western favorites, all freshly prepared and delicious. We also made use of the rooftop pool and fitness center, which offer stunning city views and a serene atmosphere. Just a 5-minute walk from Exit A2 of Zhanjiang New Town Metro Station, it’s super convenient for getting around. The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. I enjoyed walking to Hai Xinsha to check out the exhibition — only about 10 minutes away. In the evening, I had a delicious Cantonese meal right downstairs and then strolled over to Huacheng Plaza, where the night views were stunning. Being centrally located in Zhujiang New Town, the proximity to major attractions made sightseeing effortless. For the price, the value-for-money is outstanding — no need to worry about transportation, just step out and explore. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and great access to everything.
