Giffnock Rooms
Our stay at Giffnock Rooms was absolutely wonderful—perfect for exploring Glasgow and visiting family nearby. The room was cozy and comfortable, and we all slept like babies throughout our two-night visit. It’s just four train stops from Glasgow Central, making city access super easy, and it’s also very convenient for getting to Glasgow Airport. The location is ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful base with great transport links. Jacqueline made us feel right at home with her warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back—thank you so much! Highly recommend this gem.

Staying at Revolver Hostel was a great experience—my second time in a hostel, and this one definitely stands out. Located right in the heart of Glasgow, it’s super convenient for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. I was tired from a long day of sightseeing, but even with evening music events, I still managed to sleep well—great soundproofing in the rooms. The elevator is a real plus, especially when carrying luggage up and down. Clean, friendly staff, and a vibrant atmosphere without being too noisy. Overall, an excellent value for money option in a fantastic location. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

Staying here for just one night was absolutely perfect, especially given how close it is to the University of Glasgow. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to campus and surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, and shops. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a fantastic value for such a convenient and comfortable stay. I’d definitely book again if I’m ever back in Glasgow.

Staying at this 1-bedroom flat in Scotstoun was a great experience overall, especially due to its unbeatable location. It’s just a short walk from convenient public transportation, making it easy to explore Glasgow and get to the airport without hassle. The owner went above and beyond by allowing us an extra hour stay for free after our travel plans were delayed by bad weather—such a thoughtful gesture! The apartment itself is clean and functional, with a reliable washing machine and fridge. However, there are a few small drawbacks: the only coffee option is instant, which might be inconvenient for regular coffee drinkers, and the kitchenware collection feels a bit mismatched—some dishes and pans don’t quite go together. Also, while the unit is still in good condition, signs of wear and tear are noticeable on some surfaces. Despite these minor issues, the convenience, hospitality, and value for money make this a solid choice if you're looking for a comfortable base in Glasgow.

Arriving at Travelodge Glasgow after a disappointing stay in Edinburgh felt like stepping into a breath of fresh air. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful—despite my poor memory, every team member stood out for their outstanding customer care. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and generously stocked with coffee to keep us going. We had our best night’s sleep in days, which made all the difference after a rough few nights. This place truly feels like a five-star experience, especially in terms of hospitality. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Glasgow. Huge thanks to everyone working the first and second shifts on June 1st—I wish I could remember your names, but you’ve all been exceptional. And yes, the hotel smells wonderful too—such a small detail that makes a big impact.

The Willow
I can't recommend this place at all. The manager was extremely rude and seemed to have no respect for guests. This behavior completely ruined my trip and left me with a negative impression of Glasgow, which is unfortunate since I had high hopes for the city. The room was underwhelming, and the overall service fell far short of expectations. It's sad that one person's attitude could affect such a strong experience. I won’t be returning, and I hope the hotel takes feedback seriously to improve guest satisfaction in the future.
Holiday Inn Glasgow - City Ctr Theatreland
I was pleasantly surprised by the Holiday Inn Glasgow - City Ctr Theatreland—right in the heart of the city and incredibly convenient for exploring. I stayed here with a colleague during a work trip, and since our original hotel was fully booked, we were redirected to this one through the platform. The location is fantastic—steps away from theatres, restaurants, and public transit. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a great bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering local tips upon check-in. It’s rare to find such a well-located, high-quality hotel at this price point. I’d definitely recommend it—and will be booking again on my next visit to Glasgow.
Travelodge Glasgow Queen Street
Located just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, this Travelodge offers unbeatable convenience with countless pubs, cafés, and restaurants all within easy reach. Shopping options nearby cater to every taste and budget—perfect for a quick stroll after checking in. The only minor downside? I didn’t realize the room didn’t include a hairdryer until after my post-shower hair wash. Thankfully, it was a warm day, so my hair dried naturally without too much hassle. We even stopped by Bier Halle nearby—absolutely loved the vibe and selection of craft beers. Already planning our next stay here! Great value, excellent location, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely recommend.
