Absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam! We booked this hotel specifically to be right in the heart of Sail Amsterdam 2025, and it was the perfect choice. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the waterfront and all the action, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth, and we were even allowed to check in early—no hassle at all. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with a great view of the city. The dining experience was outstanding—the pre-photos of the dinner and dessert menu didn’t do justice to how delicious everything actually was. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and presented. From start to finish, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. This hotel truly delivers on comfort, service, and atmosphere. A definite must-stay if you're visiting Amsterdam during major events like Sail Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

The family room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for relaxing after long days exploring Amsterdam by bike. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making recovery from sightseeing a breeze. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety of sweet and savory treats, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and endless drink options. Starting each day with such a rich, delicious spread gave us the energy we needed to dive into all the city has to offer. The hotel’s location was ideal—just a short walk or metro ride from major attractions, while still being convenient for trips to the airport, Keukenhof Gardens, Zaanse Schans, and Volendam-Marken. We also appreciated the on-site parking, which was perfect for our rental car, and the ability to rent bikes directly at the hotel—a real plus for cycling around town. Even though we didn’t get to use the beautiful garden and pool area, it added to the sense of luxury and tranquility. Overall, this hotel elevated our Amsterdam experience beyond expectations. Highly recommended for families seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of artful charm. We’ll definitely be back.

This was hands down the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my European trip. The place feels brand new, with spacious rooms that make you feel instantly relaxed. It’s just two tram stops from Amsterdam Central Station—get off at Nord, which is the final stop—and it’s only a 3-minute walk to the hotel. Perfectly located for a quiet escape from the busy city center while still being super accessible. Check-in was handled by MIKA, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d actually had trouble exiting the station earlier, but he quickly explained that scanning the Eurostar QR code would solve it. When I left, I was nervous—but sure enough, one scan and I was through. Huge thanks to MIKA! The breakfast was exceptional too. That coffee? The milk foam was so rich and velvety, it might be the best cup I’ve had anywhere in Europe. I even tried making waffles myself—fun and delicious! The room’s tea and coffee station was well stocked with capsules, tea bags, and everything else you’d need, and they were always refilled promptly. If I ever return to Amsterdam, this hotel would be my top pick without hesitation.

The room was cozy and well-appointed: a comfortable bed, a fully stocked bathroom, a small table with two chairs, and thoughtful extras like coffee, cream, and other daily comforts. Each morning, the host personally delivered breakfast to my room—fresh fruit, delicious croissants, rolls, a boiled egg, jams, butter, honey, and muesli. It was a delightful start to the day. I didn’t use the TV, so I can’t comment on that feature. The location couldn’t be better—steps from restaurants, shops, and all the major sights in central Amsterdam. Walking distance to everything makes exploring effortless. The host is also happy to offer personalized recommendations if you’re unsure where to go. One small tip: if visiting in summer, close the room-darkening curtains during the day, as the west-facing sunlight can heat up the room quickly. Overall, an exceptional stay with genuine hospitality and a wonderful home-away-from-home feel.
