The mattress was a real treat—Hypnos, used by the British royal family, made for one of the most restful nights I’ve had in years. Plus, the free mini-bar stocked with non-alcoholic drinks and local snacks was a thoughtful touch. No need to buy anything extra. Everything about this stay felt premium without being over-the-top. 10/10—definitely coming back.

Le Méridien Hamburg

Staying at Le Méridien Hamburg was a wonderful experience overall. I booked a room with a great view, and it definitely lived up to expectations—especially during sunset, when the city skyline looked stunning. The only minor downside was construction right outside the front door, which made access slightly inconvenient, but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment. Parking fees were on the higher side, especially considering the room rate; including parking for guests or offering a discount would have been a nice touch. I was really hoping to check out the sauna and pool, but never got around to it—still a small regret. The breakfast was fantastic—fresh salmon, delicious fish salad, and plenty of cheese, all exactly what I love. Hamburg itself is such a beautiful city, and this hotel offers a perfect base to explore it. With its stylish vibe, excellent location, and top-notch breakfast, I’d definitely come back.

The staff are attentive, the rooms are well-designed, and the attention to detail makes this feel more like a boutique experience than a standard hotel. Despite not having the official 5-star rating, it easily exceeds expectations. This is one of the best stays I’ve had in Germany, and I’d happily return in a heartbeat.
