My stay at Heera Holiday Inn in Kolkata was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The warm welcome and exceptional hospitality made us feel right at home, especially as a family. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and genuine care shown by the staff. I’d like to personally thank Alam and Surajit for going above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed—they were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The rest of the team also showed great professionalism and kindness. The location is convenient, close to public transport, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. This place deserves all the praise—it’s a gem in Kolkata, and I’m already planning my next visit.

Stayed here for a couple of days and was thoroughly impressed. The hospitality was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. I appreciated that outside food is allowed, and they even provided utensils, which made dining in much more convenient. The room is cleaned daily, keeping everything fresh and tidy. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—everything you need is within walking distance, from local eateries to metro access, making it super easy to explore Kolkata without relying on taxis. Just be mindful: the gate closes at 12 AM, so plan your return accordingly. Breakfast was a highlight—homemade and delicious, with a real home-cooked feel. The only minor downside is the small washroom space, but considering the budget-friendly price point, it’s completely reasonable. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at Bhammar's Inn from January 24th to 29th, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The vegetarian meals were not only delicious but also felt genuinely homely—like being served comfort food by a kind family. Mr. Amit and his team went above and beyond with their hospitality; we especially appreciated Mr. Amit’s thoughtful approach to guest care. His attention to detail and genuine warmth made us feel welcome and valued. The peaceful atmosphere, clean rooms, and focus on pure vegetarian cuisine really set this place apart. If you're looking for a serene, authentic stay in Kolkata with excellent food and personal service, this is a must-try. Highly recommend!
Super Townhouse Parkstreet Formerly Hotel Royal Garden
I was disappointed to learn that foreign guests aren't allowed to stay at this property. Fortunately, the platform I booked through assisted me with a full refund promptly. While the location and overall setting are decent, it's definitely a drawback for international travelers. It would be great if the hotel could reconsider its policy to welcome guests from all over the world—this would enhance accessibility and improve the experience for many visitors.

OYO 7111 Fanindra Guest House
The guesthouse is conveniently located just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore Kolkata on foot. The only minor downside was having to carry luggage up half a flight of stairs for the first-floor rooms, but it didn’t detract much from our stay. If you're visiting Kolkata specifically for your visa application, this is hands down the best place to stay. It's literally a 5-minute walk to the consulate and just a 15-minute stroll to the biometric center—perfect for tight schedules. The hotel offers simple but tasty vegetarian meals at very reasonable prices. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to order food at least 45 minutes to an hour in advance; otherwise, they might not be able to serve it. Portion sizes are on the smaller side, but given the price, it’s still great value. Rooms are clean, well-maintained, and the air conditioning works like a dream—really important in Kolkata’s heat. The staff are incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. I’d absolutely book here again and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Kolkata for official purposes.
