Stayed at Ritz Leblon and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff, especially Carlos and Juliana, were exceptional—warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile. The breakfast servers and housekeeping team were equally impressive, making every interaction a pleasure. Breakfast itself was delicious and well-rounded, with fresh, high-quality options. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness was spotless—truly impeccable. The whole experience felt luxurious without being over-the-top. I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rio—it’s a gem in a great location, close to everything yet peaceful. Definitely a place I’ll return to.

Everything was perfect—the view was absolutely stunning, and I can already tell I’ll be coming back. The moment I stepped into the room, I was greeted with a clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed space that made me feel instantly at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth stay, always friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Even though it’s in a peaceful, quiet area, getting to downtown Rio is easy—just a short ride away. The natural surroundings are breathtaking, especially at sunset. For such a serene setting with top-notch comfort and service, the value is unbeatable. I’ve already started planning my next visit—this place truly feels like a hidden gem.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Ipanema Beach House! The moment we arrived, Frank greeted us with such a warm vibe and exceptional hospitality. He went above and beyond by sharing personalized recommendations on local attractions and hidden gems around Rio. What stood out the most was being able to store our luggage before check-in—perfect for exploring the beachfront or grabbing a drink nearby without rushing. It made our arrival so much more relaxed and enjoyable. From start to finish, this was an outstanding experience. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Rio!

Everything was excellent—the location is unbeatable, right next to a variety of great restaurants. I loved how walkable everything was, and the hotel itself had a stylish, modern vibe with clean, well-appointed rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay feel personal and relaxing. It’s rare to find such a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and charm in Rio. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative due to the lack of signage and lighting in the backyard, making the area extremely unsafe for elderly guests and children. I didn’t stay overnight—I only booked a day-use option through the platform for my birthday celebration and that of a close friend. As shown in photo 20, there’s a gap beside the staircase leading down to the yard, which becomes completely invisible at night because there’s no lighting in the area. While descending the stairs, I tripped over the gap and hit my head on a stone, resulting in six stitches above my eyebrow. To clarify—no alcohol was consumed during this incident. This could have easily turned into a much more serious accident. I reported the issue to the couple managing the booking, but they showed no intention to address or fix the hazard. Aside from that, there’s nothing else to comment on since I didn’t actually stay overnight. My only warning to future guests: this property is not recommended for families with young children or older adults due to the significant safety risks.

The daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless throughout my stay, and the kitchen had all the essentials I needed for simple meals. Clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped—it felt like home. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a great location in Rio, this place is a top choice.

Marcos speaks fluent English and shared invaluable local insights, from hidden gem restaurants and must-visit attractions to areas to avoid for safety reasons. Their knowledge of the city made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We felt truly cared for throughout our visit, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly. If we ever return to Rio, we’d choose them without hesitation.
