The breakfast buffet offers classic Brazilian flavors with a wide variety of options, though it feels a bit repetitive day after day. A rotating international section—maybe some Asian-inspired dishes—would add welcome variety. The pool area is fantastic: perfect for relaxing during the day, and the evening live entertainment is consistently high-quality and entertaining. I’m especially impressed by the fitness center—it’s one of the best in all of Rio, well-equipped and spacious. Under General Manager Netto Moreira’s leadership, the hotel runs like a well-oiled machine. Every detail reflects care and attention. It’s clear this team takes pride in delivering excellence. For travelers seeking comfort, style, and top-tier hospitality in Ipanema, this is a standout choice.
Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative due to the lack of signage and lighting in the backyard, making the area extremely unsafe for elderly guests and children. I didn’t stay overnight—I only booked a day-use option through the platform for my birthday celebration and that of a close friend. As shown in photo 20, there’s a gap beside the staircase leading down to the yard, which becomes completely invisible at night because there’s no lighting in the area. While descending the stairs, I tripped over the gap and hit my head on a stone, resulting in six stitches above my eyebrow. To clarify—no alcohol was consumed during this incident. This could have easily turned into a much more serious accident. I reported the issue to the couple managing the booking, but they showed no intention to address or fix the hazard. Aside from that, there’s nothing else to comment on since I didn’t actually stay overnight. My only warning to future guests: this property is not recommended for families with young children or older adults due to the significant safety risks.
