Despite being a luxury hotel, the price feels very reasonable—excellent value for money. The only minor downside? The sound of waves can be a bit loud if you're sensitive to noise, so I’d recommend requesting a room farther from the beach side or on a higher floor. Overall, an outstanding experience—comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for families or couples looking for relaxation with great convenience.

The location is fantastic—just a short walk or quick subway ride away from major attractions, and there are plenty of great cafes and local shops nearby. Located just a short walk from two metro stops in the heart of Ipanema, it’s only a 5-minute stroll to the beach—perfect for morning swims and sunset views. The neighborhood is quiet, well-lit, and feels safe even at night. My room was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh gluten-free bread, a delicious pastry, plus eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, juices, and coffee. It felt like a little treat every morning. This hotel offers incredible value and a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative due to the lack of signage and lighting in the backyard, making the area extremely unsafe for elderly guests and children. I didn’t stay overnight—I only booked a day-use option through the platform for my birthday celebration and that of a close friend. As shown in photo 20, there’s a gap beside the staircase leading down to the yard, which becomes completely invisible at night because there’s no lighting in the area. While descending the stairs, I tripped over the gap and hit my head on a stone, resulting in six stitches above my eyebrow. To clarify—no alcohol was consumed during this incident. This could have easily turned into a much more serious accident. I reported the issue to the couple managing the booking, but they showed no intention to address or fix the hazard. Aside from that, there’s nothing else to comment on since I didn’t actually stay overnight. My only warning to future guests: this property is not recommended for families with young children or older adults due to the significant safety risks.
