Clean towels and a well-stocked minibar (with water, soft drinks, beer, and chocolate) added to the convenience. Breakfast was included in my booking and offered a delicious taste of local Brazilian flavors—especially the cheese bread, which was fresh and flavorful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. For the location, comfort, service, and value, this hotel truly earns every bit of its excellent rating. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a reliable, authentic Rio experience.

The room was incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness was spotless—truly impeccable. The whole experience felt luxurious without being over-the-top. We had an absolutely incredible weekend at Casa Caminho do Corcovado—truly a gem in Rio! The view from the property is breathtaking, whether you're enjoying it during the day or under the stars at night. Our cabin was spotless, cozy, and offered complete privacy—perfect for unwinding. The bedding and towels were high-quality and fresh-smelling, adding to the comfort. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruits, warm bread, cheeses, eggs, cakes, and more—all made with care and served with a smile. It felt like being welcomed into a home rather than staying at a hotel. Huge thanks to Helena and Diogo for such warm hospitality—they made us feel right at home. This place truly stands out, and I can't wait to come back.

We stayed for a week at this apartment in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, and overall had a great experience. The unit is simple but well-equipped with everything we needed—especially the bed, which was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on away from home. The concierge staff were warm and helpful, even if English was limited; we managed just fine using Google Translate. The view from the room was absolutely stunning—rolling hills, Leblon Beach, and the vibrant rooftops of Rocinha favela stretching out below. It felt like living in a postcard. My only minor concern was the cleaning service, which came at an extra cost of just over £30. While the cleaner visited daily, they only mopped the floors and took out the trash—towels and bedding weren’t changed all week, which felt a bit underwhelming. Still, that didn’t discourage us from wanting to return. The location, comfort, and views make it a top choice for anyone visiting Leblon.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative due to the lack of signage and lighting in the backyard, making the area extremely unsafe for elderly guests and children. I didn’t stay overnight—I only booked a day-use option through the platform for my birthday celebration and that of a close friend. As shown in photo 20, there’s a gap beside the staircase leading down to the yard, which becomes completely invisible at night because there’s no lighting in the area. While descending the stairs, I tripped over the gap and hit my head on a stone, resulting in six stitches above my eyebrow. To clarify—no alcohol was consumed during this incident. This could have easily turned into a much more serious accident. I reported the issue to the couple managing the booking, but they showed no intention to address or fix the hazard. Aside from that, there’s nothing else to comment on since I didn’t actually stay overnight. My only warning to future guests: this property is not recommended for families with young children or older adults due to the significant safety risks.

Their knowledge of the city made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We felt truly cared for throughout our visit, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.
