Despite being a luxury hotel, the price feels very reasonable—excellent value for money. The only minor downside? The sound of waves can be a bit loud if you're sensitive to noise, so I’d recommend requesting a room farther from the beach side or on a higher floor. Overall, an outstanding experience—comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for families or couples looking for relaxation with great convenience.

A true sanctuary of peace and nature! We spent three wonderful weeks in Rio de Janeiro with our family, and were warmly welcomed by Mauricio and Stuart at Casa Verde. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering breathtaking views—morning ocean vistas and afternoon glimpses into the lush forest. Breakfast was delicious and the travel tips and guided tours they shared were incredibly helpful in planning our trip. Mauricio and Stuart are genuinely kind, welcoming hosts who love connecting with guests. Their hospitality made our stay in Rio even more memorable. What really stands out is how close it is to the beach—just a short walk or quick metro ride away, making it super easy to enjoy the seaside vibe anytime. I was impressed by how well-priced this place is for the quality offered. If you're after a comfortable, convenient, and affordable stay in Rio, I highly recommend giving this property a try. It’s definitely one of the best value options I’ve found during my trip.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative due to the lack of signage and lighting in the backyard, making the area extremely unsafe for elderly guests and children. I didn’t stay overnight—I only booked a day-use option through the platform for my birthday celebration and that of a close friend. As shown in photo 20, there’s a gap beside the staircase leading down to the yard, which becomes completely invisible at night because there’s no lighting in the area. While descending the stairs, I tripped over the gap and hit my head on a stone, resulting in six stitches above my eyebrow. To clarify—no alcohol was consumed during this incident. This could have easily turned into a much more serious accident. I reported the issue to the couple managing the booking, but they showed no intention to address or fix the hazard. Aside from that, there’s nothing else to comment on since I didn’t actually stay overnight. My only warning to future guests: this property is not recommended for families with young children or older adults due to the significant safety risks.
