Staying at this resort felt like a true getaway. The private beach access is a game-changer—just step outside and you're right on the sand with stunning ocean views. It's well-located, just a short ride from downtown Rio, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a peaceful retreat. The amenities are impressive: multiple pools (indoor and outdoor), tennis courts, and a dedicated kids’ play area that kept my children entertained all day. Despite being a luxury hotel, the price feels very reasonable—excellent value for money. The only minor downside? The sound of waves can be a bit loud if you're sensitive to noise, so I’d recommend requesting a room farther from the beach side or on a higher floor. Overall, an outstanding experience—comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for families or couples looking for relaxation with great convenience.

Staying at Ipanema Inn was a great experience overall, especially given its prime location just across the street from Ipanema Beach—walking to the sand is effortless. The free beach towels and chairs are a nice touch, making beach days even more convenient. The on-site restaurant delivers solid food quality with a welcoming vibe. While the room is compact, it’s clean and well-maintained. That said, the street noise can be intense, especially with ongoing construction nearby—something to consider if you’re sensitive to sound. The air conditioning drips water, and the shower setup isn’t the most user-friendly. The bed was also quite firm, which might not suit everyone. However, the highlight of our stay was the rooftop spa at their sister property in Arpoador. We had an incredible massage there—relaxing, professional, and worth every minute. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our three-night stay and would definitely return for the location and the exceptional spa experience.

The breakfast was outstanding—fresh gluten-free bread, a delicious pastry, plus eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, juices, and coffee. It felt like a little treat every morning. This hotel offers incredible value and a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative due to the lack of signage and lighting in the backyard, making the area extremely unsafe for elderly guests and children. I didn’t stay overnight—I only booked a day-use option through the platform for my birthday celebration and that of a close friend. As shown in photo 20, there’s a gap beside the staircase leading down to the yard, which becomes completely invisible at night because there’s no lighting in the area. While descending the stairs, I tripped over the gap and hit my head on a stone, resulting in six stitches above my eyebrow. To clarify—no alcohol was consumed during this incident. This could have easily turned into a much more serious accident. I reported the issue to the couple managing the booking, but they showed no intention to address or fix the hazard. Aside from that, there’s nothing else to comment on since I didn’t actually stay overnight. My only warning to future guests: this property is not recommended for families with young children or older adults due to the significant safety risks.
