Absolutely worth every penny! We stayed here during a business trip with our kids for a long weekend, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always thinking ahead. They even helped keep the kids entertained when we were swamped with work, which felt like having a personal concierge. The spa is a real highlight: spacious, beautifully renovated a few years ago, and free for guests twice daily—perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety, generous portions, and if you asked for something off-menu (within reason), they’d happily cook it fresh. Dinner was also impressive, with elegant plating and a Michelin-inspired touch, though the portion sizes were on the larger side—left us full but not quite satisfied in terms of hunger. Still, the quality and experience were top-notch. Whether you're traveling for work or family fun, this hotel delivers an unforgettable stay.

It’s also just a 20-minute walk to the University of Glasgow, and even easier if you take the subway—convenient for exploring the city. The location is peaceful yet well-connected, and being across from the BBC adds a bit of cultural charm. I’m already planning my next trip to Glasgow just so I can stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Staying at this historic castle hotel was a dream come true—despite being assigned to a separate wing near the grassy courtyard instead of the main castle building, the experience was still outstanding. The room was huge, the bathroom spacious, and the bathtub perfect for soaking after a long day. Free parking was a big plus, especially if you're driving in. While I’d have loved to stay in the original castle rooms, the modern annex offered comfort and charm without compromise. The atmosphere, location, and attention to detail made it well worth it. Definitely planning to return.

Shopping options nearby cater to every taste and budget—perfect for a quick stroll after checking in. The only minor downside? I didn’t realize the room didn’t include a hairdryer until after my post-shower hair wash. Thankfully, it was a warm day, so my hair dried naturally without too much hassle. We even stopped by Bier Halle nearby—absolutely loved the vibe and selection of craft beers. Already planning our next stay here! Great value, excellent location, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely recommend.
