The dining options were fantastic too—the Royal Indian restaurant delivered exceptional vegetarian dishes that were both flavorful and authentic. Everything about this stay felt seamless: comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and care. It’s rare to find a 5-star experience that checks every box so thoroughly. Staying at Upar Hotels - T Nagar in Chennai was an excellent experience overall. The hotel is just a short walk from Pondy Bazaar Shopping Area, making it super convenient for exploring local markets and grabbing some retail therapy. I enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast — varied, tasty, and well-prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Floor Supervisor Sridhar — he went above and beyond to assist me with everything, and the rest of the team were equally warm and professional. The property is well-maintained, clean, and offers a comfortable stay. The only minor downside was the spring mattress, which felt a bit too firm for my taste. Still, despite that small issue, the overall experience was outstanding. I’d definitely recommend this hotel — I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Crescent Park Hotel offers a surprisingly comfortable stay in a quiet yet conveniently located business district of Chennai. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the hotel’s central position makes it ideal for both business travelers and tourists exploring the city. I was initially assigned room 204 upon late-night check-in—definitely avoid this one. It felt worn out and outdated. The next morning, I was moved to room 209, which woke me up to natural sunlight and fresh air—a huge improvement! The staff truly make the difference here. Prem and Shyam, the room attendants, are genuinely kind and always ready to help with any issue. Santosh at front desk was professional and welcoming. Breakfast was just average—not much to get excited about—but the surrounding area has excellent dining options, so that’s a major plus. Don’t worry about language barriers—even if you don’t speak Tamil, the housekeeping team speaks Hindi, and front desk staff are fluent in both Hindi and English. TV channels are plentiful, though I’d love to see Star Sports 1 in English next time instead of Tamil, as I don’t understand the language. Overall, it’s a solid value-for-money experience. The hospitality and attentiveness of the team really elevate the stay.
