First time visiting Sweden, and arriving at Stockholm Central Station by train was a breeze—just a 400-meter walk to the hotel. The location is unbeatable: the hotel itself has a lovely historic charm, facing a museum, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and clean the room was—no noise from the street, just peaceful comfort. It’s rare to find such a well-located, comfortable stay with that level of tranquility. Honestly, the experience exceeded my expectations. If I come back to Stockholm, this will be my go-to place without hesitation.
Downtown Camper by Scandic
Despite not having the highest rating, this hotel turned out to be my favorite stay during the trip. The energy here is vibrant and perfect for young travelers—modern, stylish decor with a real sense of character. The room is intentionally dimly lit, which fits the design aesthetic, and it’s incredibly quiet. I slept like a baby and woke up completely refreshed. The breakfast was a highlight—freshly made waffles piled high with creamy butter, absolutely delicious and something I still think about. Super convenient location near the subway, making downtown Stockholm easy to explore. Great value, great vibe, and definitely a place I’d return to.

While taking the regular bus isn't the most convenient option, the Airport Express Line makes commuting easy—just a quick ride into town. Once you're here, everything is super accessible: the old town is just steps away, and there's a large cruise terminal nearby. We took a day trip on a scenic cruise right from the dock—perfect for views and relaxation. The location really shines when it comes to city access and unique experiences.
