The morning views from the city skyline are stunning, especially when you start your day with a delicious breakfast. The breakfast spread is impressive: fresh fruits are available both pre-cut and whole. I chose the whole kiwi, apples, pears, and oranges, and staff kindly sliced them for me right after I placed them on my tray—such a thoughtful touch. The hotel offers valet parking at €42 per night, which is reasonable considering the central location and high level of service. Every detail feels intentional, from the elegant décor to the attentive staff. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a memorable experience. I’d definitely return and recommend it to any traveler visiting Lyon.

The room was clean, well-maintained, and spotless—exactly what you want after a long journey. Breakfast was served in the ground-floor restaurant, which has a bright, open atmosphere and great natural lighting. I had my first-ever experience with a croissant sandwiched with strawberry jam and hoisin sauce—unexpected but surprisingly delicious! There was a little mix-up with my tea order: I asked for a cup of black tea, but the server handed me a tea bag instead. By the time I realized it, I’d already opened it—so I ended up drinking it anyway, which made for a funny moment. It didn’t ruin the experience at all—it actually added a touch of charm. Overall, this hotel delivered excellent service, comfort, and a memorable stay. Highly recommend!

Staying at Mercure Lyon Centre - Gare Part-Dieu was an excellent experience from start to finish. We booked a triple room with one double bed and one single bed—plenty of space, and the bedding was super comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The room came equipped with a mini-fridge, complimentary bottled water, instant coffee, and tea bags—perfect for early mornings without needing to go out. The TV was large and had excellent picture quality, great for relaxing after a long day. Cleanliness was top-notch—everything felt spotless and well-maintained. What really stood out was the toiletries: Clarins, a well-known French brand! It added a nice touch of luxury. The bathroom was smartly designed with a dry-wet separation—shower and toilet in separate areas, which made everything much more convenient and hygienic. Location-wise, it’s literally just steps away from the train station. You can walk straight out and be there in under two minutes—but watch your direction, as the station complex can be confusing. Despite being right next to a busy railway hub, the soundproofing is impressive. Double-glazed windows on two layers (four panes total) kept outside noise completely out, so the room stayed quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful—there was even a red candy at the front desk, which turned out to be a local specialty. I later tried a pastry containing that same ingredient, and it was delicious! Also, luggage storage was super easy. All in all, this hotel offers fantastic value, great comfort, and unbeatable convenience—definitely a place I’d recommend and stay at again.

Located right in the heart of the business district, it's just a 30-minute walk to the train station—super convenient for getting around. Everything was spotlessly clean, even down to thoughtful extras like a shower cap, sewing kit, and toiletry pouch. The soundproofing is excellent—no noise from hallways or neighboring rooms, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. The view from the window was fantastic, offering a nice glimpse of the city life outside. With such a great location, top-notch cleanliness, and excellent value, this place truly stands out. I’ll definitely be coming back.
