I've never experienced paying a 500 euro deposit just to get the apartment keys — and I was charged this amount during online check-in. To my shock, the money was never refunded after checkout. It felt like a scam, and I'm seriously disappointed. I booked through a major platform, so I trusted the process, but clearly, that didn't protect me. This is not acceptable. I will absolutely never stay here again, and I urge anyone considering this property to proceed with extreme caution.

Staying at the Ibis Styles Paris Gare de Lyon TGV was an absolute breeze for exploring Paris. Located just steps from the train station, it’s a seamless gateway to the city’s highlights—especially the yellow line that takes you straight to the Louvre, with other major sights like the Grand Palais, Pont Alexandre III, Champs Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and even the Eiffel Tower all within easy reach via quick metro hops. I had just over three hours between trains and made the most of it by hopping on and off the metro to capture exterior shots of some of Paris’s most iconic landmarks. The convenience didn’t stop there—after arriving from CDG airport, I barely had to walk to get to the hotel. Plus, the red line connects directly to Chessy for the Disneyland Express, making a day trip super simple. Inside, the hotel is clean, the room comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful—plus, I picked up a new travel charger at reception for just €6 when mine stopped working. That little touch made my stay so much easier. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and I felt completely safe walking around alone at night. If you're looking for great access to Paris without breaking the bank, this is a top choice.
