It’s clear this place still values the details that make a stay memorable. For anyone seeking a refined urban escape in Tokyo, this is a top-tier choice.

Staying at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi for the second time, and I’m still completely in love with this place. It’s now my top choice in Tokyo — the service is thoughtful and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. This time, I upgraded to a Deluxe Suite on the highest floor, directly facing the Imperial Palace. The view is absolutely breathtaking: panoramic cityscapes during the day, and magical nighttime views from the bathtub right by the window. The bathroom is spacious and fully separate, with premium fittings and an incredible layout that makes every moment feel luxurious. Room service is available 24/7 — breakfast delivered to your room costs the same as dining in-house, but I’d still choose delivery for the convenience and the generous fruit platter. The hotel’s VITRU bar on the lobby level is ranked among Asia’s Top 50 — designed with inspiration from a renowned Parisian bar, it has a sophisticated French aesthetic, excellent cocktails, and surprisingly reasonable prices. Guests can walk in easily, no hassle. Location-wise, while it’s not right next to the subway station (it’s on top of Otemachi Station, owned by Mitsui), getting to Tokyo Station is just a quick ride, and Silver Street is within 10 minutes by taxi. Plus, Otemachi itself is incredibly well-connected — way more convenient than areas like Azabu. Even though the hotel has been open a few years, everything still feels brand new, clean, and impeccably maintained. No signs of wear, just top-tier quality throughout. If you want a quiet, elevated urban retreat in central Tokyo with unbeatable views and exceptional service, this is it.

The layout is thoughtfully designed—front desk, concierge, and lounge areas are clearly separated yet feel cohesive, creating a sense of privacy without feeling isolated. The room itself is spacious, with the chair and bed perfectly positioned to face the panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Waking up to that vista felt like a gift. And the breakfast? The salmon roe was incredibly fresh—perfectly paired with rice, adding a luxurious touch to the morning. Every detail feels intentional, from the design to the service. I and Xiang’s ice cream shop is literally right downstairs, perfect for a sweet treat without leaving the building. Compared to staying at the Aman, this was far more convenient. The hotel isn’t huge—nothing like the larger Edition properties back home—but in Tokyo, it’s excellent. What really stands out is the service: every time you walk in or out, staff greet you by name with genuine warmth. It’s so friendly, you almost feel like you’re being welcomed home. The room itself is spacious, clean, and well-designed, with incredibly comfortable bedding. The pillows are exactly my type—just firm enough to support, yet soft enough to dream on. Overall, an outstanding stay that exceeded expectations.

Only guests are allowed in the outdoor section—just mention your room number and you’ll be guided to a prime spot overlooking the city lights. It was the perfect way to unwind with a cocktail under the stars. Special thanks to Lily, our friendly Chinese-speaking area supervisor—her professionalism and genuine hospitality made all the difference. Breakfast options included in-room or dining room service, and each day came with fresh fruit, welcome treats, and evening herbal tea for relaxation. The mini-bar featured non-Bvlgari branded drinks that were completely free—no hidden fees. For dessert lovers, this place is heaven: the cakes and chocolates at the lobby counter are simply irresistible. And leaving the hotel, we received a commemorative Bvlgari luggage tag—such a sweet final gesture. Every detail felt intentional, luxurious, and thoughtful. This isn’t just a stay—it’s a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back.

I especially loved the little sushi shop next to the dumpling place, where their pickled plum and shiso sushi was absolutely outstanding. There are two 24-hour convenience stores nearby, so late-night snacks or essentials are never an issue. The room itself is spacious for Tokyo standards—clean, well-maintained, with a smart toilet, separate shower area, and best of all, a rain showerhead! After checking so many hotels, finding one with this feature made my stay feel luxurious. The soundproofing is excellent—despite being near the elevator, there was zero noise from traffic or people passing by. A fridge is also included, which is always a plus. The pillows weren’t my favorite, but that’s a minor detail. Staff were friendly and helpful, though breakfast service slowed down during peak hours. Even with available seats, the kitchen couldn’t keep up, leading to long waits in front of the dining area. Still, the B-breakfast option tasted great and was worth the wait. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and value—definitely a top choice if you're visiting Tokyo.
