Had a wonderful week at Sea Melody Beach Hotel Apartments! This was our third visit, and it was just as enjoyable as the previous two—truly a home away from home. The location is perfect: right across from the sea, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Breakfast is included, but we also enjoyed lunch and dinner at the hotel—high-quality meals at very reasonable prices, much cheaper than dining out in town. They offer both buffet and à la carte options for dinner, giving great flexibility. We’re already planning to return in 2025—this place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and value.

After an 8-day stay at a different hotel that left us disappointed—no peace and quiet, more like a campsite, with underwhelming dining—we decided to switch accommodations. What a delightful surprise! Stygos Villa is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. The pool and jacuzzi are perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the island—especially in the evening when the breeze is just right. It's incredibly close to the beach, making it ideal for kite surfing enthusiasts like us. The entire villa is fully air-conditioned, which was a huge plus during our summer visit. Everything was spotlessly clean, down to the smallest detail. As a large family from England, we appreciated the spacious layout and privacy each room offered. The location, comfort, and hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. We’re already planning our return trip—this place feels like a second home.

This hotel is far from what it claims to be—definitely not worth the price. From raw chicken served during meals to cockroaches scurrying through hallways, the lack of basic hygiene is shocking. The rooms had visible stains on the walls and floors, and the pool looked unclean and neglected. Guests were visibly upset, standing in long queues just to complain, but staff ignored them completely—some even turned people away. We ended up switching hotels and only managed to recover about a quarter of our original payment. Honestly, I’m surprised this place is still open after such poor service and conditions. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Rhodes, avoid this resort at all costs.

Not sure which hotel the previous reviewer stayed at, but The Garden Hotel is definitely not run by a brother and sister! That said, it has the most helpful and friendly staff I've ever encountered at any hotel. While the accommodations are basic compared to a modern four-star property and it's located in the middle of an authentic Greek village—away from bustling resorts—this is exactly why we love it. The large pool offers more than enough sunbeds, and there’s evening entertainment if you’re up for joining in. If you’re looking for a hotel right across the road from the beach with daily activities, multiple restaurants, and non-stop action, this isn’t the place for you. But if you're after a peaceful, relaxing week soaking up the sun in a quiet, genuine Greek setting, you couldn’t ask for a better choice. The fact that so many guests return year after year speaks volumes—there must be something really special happening here.
