Staying at Faranda Collection Medellín was an absolute delight — a perfect blend of modern style, stunning views, and thoughtful hospitality. From our room to the rooftop breakfast and bar area, every angle offered breathtaking city vistas, especially during sunrise and sunset. The hot tub and spa floor were equally impressive, with panoramic views that made relaxation even more enjoyable. We appreciated the complimentary water and welcome non-alcoholic drinks, and the free 15-minute massage was a lovely touch — we upgraded it to 45 minutes, which was absolutely worth it. Just an 8-minute walk to Santafé Mall (with an underground grocery store), everything we needed was within reach. The fully stocked fridge and bar with paid items were super convenient for late-night snacks or drinks. Breakfast was a highlight — a generous buffet featuring fresh fruits, hot soups, and a wide variety of options. Staff at breakfast and evening bar were attentive and friendly. Special shout-out to Tatiana and Andres, and also to a chef or kitchen team member who kindly checked in on us while we were just browsing — such a small gesture but truly memorable. This place truly delivers on comfort, service, and atmosphere. A standout experience I’ll definitely return to.

Staying at Leblón Suites Hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from the city center, with the main square only a 15- to 20-minute walk (about 1.2–2 km). There are plenty of dining options and supermarkets nearby, making daily essentials and meals super easy to access. The building itself features a clean, modern concrete aesthetic that gives it a sophisticated, upscale vibe—perfect for a business traveler. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with everything you’d expect from a quality urban hotel. The only minor issue I noticed was that drivers sometimes mistakenly pull up right in front of the adjacent office building when arriving, so it’s worth double-checking your pickup spot. But honestly, that’s a small detail in an otherwise excellent stay. Highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Medellín.
Hotel Quinta Avenida
My stay at Hotel Quinta Avenida in Medellín was an absolute disappointment. I booked in advance, expecting a certain room type, but was handed a completely different and much smaller room that was visibly dirty—sheets, blankets, and bathroom were unclean, which made the whole experience unpleasant. To make matters worse, when I entered the room, I found someone already sleeping inside—apparently, there was a mix-up with check-in, and no one took responsibility. The breakfast was subpar, and to top it off, there was no internet or TV in the room. When I asked about it, staff claimed there was damage to the equipment, but that excuse didn’t hold up—I saw no evidence of any repair work or temporary solution. The service was poor, management seemed disorganized, and overall, the hotel failed to meet basic standards. I would never consider staying here again. This is definitely not worth recommending.

I've stayed here before, but this visit was truly outstanding! The new management has completely transformed the hotel—everything feels upgraded. The breakfast is now much better, with a wider variety and improved quality. The beds and mattresses are incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. Staff are friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the stay. The room was spotlessly clean, with no detail overlooked. Located just steps from the metro, getting around Medellín is super easy. This place offers excellent value and I’ll definitely be back.

I’d recommend requesting a higher floor for better sound insulation. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d definitely stay here again. Great value for money!
