The only downside is that the hosts only speak Chinese, so guests who don’t understand Mandarin will need to rely on a translation app. That said, it’s a minor hurdle considering how well-maintained the villa is, the comfortable layout, and the peaceful neighborhood. Everything else was spot-on: clean, quiet, and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Vancouver.

It's truly disappointing to see a property with heritage status allowed to deteriorate so badly. There are multiple holes in the roof, the yard and garden are completely neglected, and the surrounding area shows no signs of maintenance. Water pressure is weak, and the temperature control is inconsistent—during winter, the heating isn’t sufficient, making it necessary to wear a jacket just to stay warm. It’s clear the owners don’t care much about the property, let alone guest comfort. Yet they’re still happy to take your money. Avoid this place—your money would be better spent elsewhere. The condition is only going to get worse, and more complaints will follow. Eventually, the City of Vancouver may be forced to shut it down, which it absolutely should. This isn’t a proper B&B anymore—it’s a warning sign.

The property was extremely disappointing. The walls were filthy and covered in grime, and I noticed bugs along the baseboards, floors, bathroom, and even in the shared kitchen area—this level of uncleanliness is unacceptable. There was no TV in the room, no tissues, no drinking glasses, and not even a single bar of soap provided. It felt like staying in an old, poorly maintained house with no attention to basic hygiene or guest comfort. For the price, this place offers absolutely no value. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and functional stay.

And when we checked out late due to our evening flight, they offered free luggage storage without hesitation. It’s rare to find such genuine care and attention to detail. This stay exceeded all expectations—comfortable, convenient, and memorable. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Vancouver.
