Exit at gates 13-14, follow the right-hand side path, and you’ll immediately spot the hotel entrance (Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka)—very straightforward. Despite being over 40 years old, the property feels fresh and well-maintained. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with excellent facilities throughout. The staff go above and beyond—friendly, professional, always greeting guests with a smile and eager to assist. Daily buffet breakfast is a highlight: generous portions, good variety, and great quality. It’s definitely worth waking up early for. A major plus is the direct airport bus service to Kansai Airport, priced at just ¥1,800 per person. The bus stop is conveniently located on the 2nd floor, accessible via the side entrance from the lobby—no hassle, just quick and efficient. The area around the hotel is bustling with restaurants, convenience stores, and local gems. Black Gate Market is only a 20-minute walk away, while Shinsaibashi takes about 30 minutes—perfect for exploring the city without needing a car or long transit times. This hotel offers unbeatable convenience, comfort, and value. I’ll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.

Still, once you’re inside, it feels like a hidden gem. I was happy to get a complimentary drink upon arrival—a nice touch! The champagne in-room is paid, but that’s expected. One downside: the on-site omakase dinner was disappointing—way too bland and not worth the price. I’d skip it if I were you. Overall, though, everything else hit the mark—the ambiance, design, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. It’s definitely a place I’d stay again, especially for travelers who appreciate character and charm over cookie-cutter hotels.

I'm a big fan of Onyado Nono and always choose them whenever I visit Osaka—this time, I stayed at the Namba branch again and wasn’t disappointed. The room was comfortable and randomly assigned, which still worked out well. They offered a nice welcome treat with two small gel snacks and bottled water, plus all essential toiletries were provided. The onsen area is on the smaller side and can get busy, especially during peak hours, with limited shower stalls—but cleanliness was good overall. One thing that felt a bit underwhelming was the lobby beverage selection: now only a compact coffee machine is available, compared to other branches where you can enjoy a wider range of drinks like soda, green tea lattes, and more from an open café-style counter. That said, the hotel’s pricing in the Namba area is on the higher end, so improving the first impression here would go a long way. What really stood out though? The front desk staff—super friendly, attentive, and always with a warm smile. Their hospitality made the whole stay feel personal and welcoming. Definitely planning to come back.
