We were close to both the train station and the heart of Verona’s tourist area, making exploration effortless. The breakfast each morning was generous and delicious, with fresh local touches we truly appreciated. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, and sharing the bathroom with one other guest wasn’t an issue at all—it was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Absolutely fantastic stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home—so friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished with every comfort you could want: modern kitchen, cozy living area, excellent AC, and a super comfy bed. It’s perfectly located just a short walk from Verona’s city center, so we were able to explore all the sights without hassle. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Italy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish, and convenient base in Verona.

Special mention to the receptionist Ethel—her warm and genuinely friendly welcome made a lasting impression. From the welcoming atmosphere to the thoughtful details, this place truly stands out. The only minor downside is that the walls are fairly thin, so some noise from neighboring rooms occasionally carried through, especially in the evening when the area tends to be lively. We've stayed at Hotel Scalzi twice now during our visits to Verona, and it's been just as wonderful the second time around. The hotel is perfectly located near Porta Nuova station and just a short walk from the city center—ideal for exploring on foot or hopping on public transit. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with a quiet, boutique feel that makes it perfect for adults seeking peace and simplicity. Breakfast is a highlight: a generous spread with both sweet and savory options, fresh coffee, cappuccino, yogurt, and more—all delicious and satisfying. The attention to detail and hospitality truly make this place stand out. It’s become our go-to choice in Verona, and we’ll definitely be back.

I stayed in Verona for work and Delle Rose Rooms turned out to be the best choice.
