I stayed here on October 6th, 2023, and honestly, this place should be avoided like the plague. No elevator to the fourth floor—extremely inconvenient. The rooms were dirty, the shared bathroom was unpleasant, and the owner was often drunk and had a strong odor. Breakfast was terrible—just awful. We originally planned to stay three nights, but after just a few hours, we couldn’t stand it anymore and left immediately. The furniture was broken, everything looked worn out, and the air smelled heavily of smoke. It’s hard to believe that the platform would approve such a place. Please don’t make the same mistake I did—read the reviews carefully before booking. This is not worth your time or money.
Nuova Opera Rooms

We stayed at Verona Mi Piace for two nights while attending a concert at the Arena, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. Located just outside Verona's city center, Agli Aceri Bed & Breakfast is about a 4.5-kilometer walk from the heart of town—no problem at all, especially since the route follows a scenic canal path that makes the journey enjoyable. Our host Stefano was incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful recommendations for things to see and do, always available during our stay. The small garden is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing with a book or just unwinding after a day of exploring. And then there’s the breakfast: fresh bread delivered daily by Stefano himself, served outdoors in the garden with local treats and warm hospitality. It felt like a true home away from home. Every detail reflects care and attention. This place truly stands out—not just for its charm, but for the genuine warmth of the host. We’ll definitely be back.
