Staying at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills was an absolute delight. The hotel is spotless and exudes a sophisticated, modern vibe from the moment you walk in. Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk or quick transit ride to my business meetings, which made my work trip stress-free. Everything I needed was within easy reach: great restaurants, cafes, shops, and local amenities all around. What truly stood out was the staff—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond, even remembering my favorite coffee order on my second visit! The overall experience was exceptional, and with a perfect 10/10 rating, I’d definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles.
Sheraton Universal
This was my third stay at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, and it didn’t disappoint—everything is still top-notch. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and a gentleman named Mr. Li who speaks Chinese helped me out with great care and professionalism. The location couldn’t be better—just a 15-minute walk to Universal Studios, or you can hop on the complimentary shuttle right outside the hotel entrance for a direct ride to the park gate. Saves so much time and energy! The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Free coffee and tea were available, plus two bottles of water daily—very thoughtful. While the toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers) weren’t left in the room, they’re high quality and delivered promptly when requested via phone. The ground-floor buffet breakfast was excellent—lots of fresh options including oatmeal, eggs, bread, bacon, beef patties, milk, and coffee. It’s all delicious and well-prepared, especially for $34 per person. We stayed for three days during a family trip, and the kids had a blast. The only minor issue? On the first day, we never put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign, but housekeeping never came by. The trash bin was overflowing, and I had to go down to front desk to request someone to take it out. That said, this was an isolated case. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and convenience are outstanding. I’ll definitely book here again next time I visit Universal Studios.

What really stood out was the value: $2,200 HKD in this area of Beverly Hills is surprisingly affordable. A quick Uber ride to Rodeo Drive cost just $12—super convenient. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout check-in and check-out. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to LA and would recommend it without hesitation.

The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant design and top-notch amenities. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, always going the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. And the on-site bar? One of the best in all of Los Angeles—perfect for a relaxing evening drink with a view. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of convenience, luxury, and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.

Location-wise, it’s tucked into a residential neighborhood, so you won’t find bustling shopping or nightlife nearby—but that’s part of its charm. It’s peaceful, quiet, and feels like a private retreat. If you’re looking for convenience and city energy, this might not be the best fit. But if you want a serene, high-end stay with exceptional service, this hotel delivers. Definitely recommend for those seeking a refined escape.

The hotel itself is a charming boutique property housed in a renovated historic building. It’s cozy, stylish, and full of character, with clean, comfortable rooms and a lovely courtyard lounge area that feels like a hidden retreat. There’s also a peaceful pool perfect for unwinding after a busy day. While breakfast isn’t included, there are plenty of great options nearby—coffee shops and brunch spots open by 10 a.m., so you’re never far from a good meal. A five-minute walk takes you to Trader Joe’s, where you can grab snacks, drinks, or souvenirs. Overall, this place offers a unique, authentic vibe with excellent value. Definitely worth returning.

His kindness and professionalism were genuinely impressive—especially in an industry where such personal attention is rare. This level of care made all the difference. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to LA, and I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting the area.

It felt a bit unexpected, almost as if they’re discouraging guests from bringing in their own food and pushing them toward dining at the hotel’s restaurant instead. Still, that minor downside doesn’t take away from the overall quality. The hotel feels safe, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for a family vacation. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you're visiting Universal Studios, this is definitely one of the best places to stay, and despite the microwave charge, we’d stay here again without hesitation.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making every interaction feel personal and genuine. The amenities are top-notch: clean, stylish rooms with thoughtful touches throughout. While there's a daily guest amenity fee of $35, it’s well worth it. Of that, $15 can be used at the on-site restaurant, which offers a diverse menu—especially impressive was the seafood stew featuring half a lobster, fresh shrimp, and scallops. Breakfast included free coffee and milk, a nice start to the day. I also loved being able to borrow bikes for a ride around the neighborhood, and the complimentary 3-mile Uber ride per day made getting to places like Rodeo Drive effortless. Plus, the evening wine hour from 5 to 6 PM was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value and a truly memorable experience.

I know prices have skyrocketed over the past few years, but considering the exceptional quality of the hotel, it still feels like a fantastic value.
