Staying at the Hilton Los Angeles-Universal City was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel is just a short 10-minute walk from Universal Studios, and while there’s also a shuttle service available, walking is quick and convenient. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and satisfying—and dinner at the on-site café was equally enjoyable. That said, I was surprised by the $20 fee to use the microwave in the room. It felt a bit unexpected, almost as if they’re discouraging guests from bringing in their own food and pushing them toward dining at the hotel’s restaurant instead. Still, that minor downside doesn’t take away from the overall quality. The hotel feels safe, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for a family vacation. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you're visiting Universal Studios, this is definitely one of the best places to stay, and despite the microwave charge, we’d stay here again without hesitation.

The staff were friendly and efficient throughout check-in and check-out. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to LA and would recommend it without hesitation.

The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant design and top-notch amenities. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, always going the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. And the on-site bar? One of the best in all of Los Angeles—perfect for a relaxing evening drink with a view. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of convenience, luxury, and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.

It’s peaceful, quiet, and feels like a private retreat. If you’re looking for convenience and city energy, this might not be the best fit. But if you want a serene, high-end stay with exceptional service, this hotel delivers. Definitely recommend for those seeking a refined escape.

There’s also a peaceful pool perfect for unwinding after a busy day. While breakfast isn’t included, there are plenty of great options nearby—coffee shops and brunch spots open by 10 a.m., so you’re never far from a good meal. A five-minute walk takes you to Trader Joe’s, where you can grab snacks, drinks, or souvenirs. Overall, this place offers a unique, authentic vibe with excellent value. Definitely worth returning.

I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to LA, and I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting the area.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making every interaction feel personal and genuine. The amenities are top-notch: clean, stylish rooms with thoughtful touches throughout. While there's a daily guest amenity fee of $35, it’s well worth it. Of that, $15 can be used at the on-site restaurant, which offers a diverse menu—especially impressive was the seafood stew featuring half a lobster, fresh shrimp, and scallops. Breakfast included free coffee and milk, a nice start to the day. I also loved being able to borrow bikes for a ride around the neighborhood, and the complimentary 3-mile Uber ride per day made getting to places like Rodeo Drive effortless. Plus, the evening wine hour from 5 to 6 PM was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional value and a truly memorable experience.

I know prices have skyrocketed over the past few years, but considering the exceptional quality of the hotel, it still feels like a fantastic value. The apartment was spotless and beautifully designed—modern, cozy, and very well-maintained. It’s perfectly located just a short walk from the Walk of Fame, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The only minor downside was hearing footsteps overhead late at night, but that’s something beyond the property’s control and definitely not the owner’s fault. Despite that, the overall experience was outstanding—great value, excellent comfort, and a fantastic base for exploring LA. I’d absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
