We recently stayed at this MEHOOD LESTIE location in Xiqing while our new home was under renovation, and honestly, the experience exceeded expectations. The owner clearly has a refined taste—every detail in the design feels intentional and high-end. From the moment you step into the lobby, there’s a striking Buddha statue that sets the tone, and I noticed fresh floral arrangements added the next day—such thoughtful touches. The elevator floor features what looks like a Versace-inspired motif, adding a unique flair. The front desk is located on the 23rd floor, with a reception counter crafted from Pandora marble—a real statement of luxury. There's also a flowing tea bar and several well-designed lounging areas with high-quality furniture. While everything is beautifully done, the sheer number of elegant elements together can feel slightly overwhelming—maybe a bit of minimalism could enhance the space even more (just a tiny suggestion 🤏). We were upgraded from a king room to a twin-bed configuration, which actually worked better for us—the layout felt more spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff went out of their way to help pick the best-facing room. The bed was wonderfully soft yet supportive, and the shower delivered consistent water pressure with excellent hot water. For the price point, the level of comfort and amenities here is outstanding. This place is definitely worth recommending to friends and family. Would absolutely stay again.

What really stood out was the exceptional service. When I mentioned the room felt a bit chilly upon arrival, the front desk staff, Xiao Liu, immediately upgraded us to a more comfortable and quieter elegant room without hesitation. Even when we forgot our breakfast voucher, she personally delivered it to our room—so attentive and friendly! The entire experience felt warm and personalized. I’ve already told my boyfriend we’re coming back for New Year’s Eve. This place is definitely on my list to recommend to friends.

Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and staff were attentive and friendly—any request was handled promptly. We drove ourselves, and the hotel offers free parking on-site, which is a huge plus. Overall, this stay was flawless—great value, excellent service, and a convenient base for exploring Tianjin. Definitely coming back!

Zhengxie Club Hotel
I’ve stayed here a few years ago and decided to return—glad I did. The location is fantastic: just steps away from Baojia Lou, Qishilin, and even the Bird’s Nest, with the Haihe River right behind the hotel. Morning walks along the riverbank are peaceful and scenic. The Chinese restaurant on-site serves solid meals, and I was pleasantly surprised by a small dumpling shop just around the corner—breakfast and lunch were both satisfying and surprisingly good value. A couple of minor drawbacks: some facilities feel dated, especially in the corners where the carpet could use a deeper clean. Also, the front desk requires copying my ID upon check-in—a practice I find unusual and concerning from a privacy standpoint, as I’ve never encountered it elsewhere. It’s worth reviewing whether this aligns with local regulations and security standards. Despite these points, the overall experience remains excellent.
