The property has a wonderfully intimate feel, beautifully decorated with elegant touches throughout. It’s not located right in the heart of downtown Austin, which makes it perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the noise and crowds. That said, there’s often live music on certain evenings—depending on the schedule—which adds a lovely local vibe. Everything about this place feels refined and thoughtfully curated. If you value quiet luxury and authentic charm, this is definitely the spot. A truly memorable stay.

Scottish Inns Austin Downtown
Our stay at Scottish Inns Austin Downtown was disappointing, to say the least. We were shocked to find numerous baby roaches in the bathroom—definitely not what you expect from a hotel. The sink had major drainage issues; as soon as we turned on the water, it started flooding within seconds. The bathtub floor was cracked in several places, and the shower curtain rod was half broken, making it impossible to keep the curtain closed. Water constantly spilled onto the floor, creating a slippery mess. The sheets and blankets were in terrible condition—covered in small burn marks and tears, clearly showing years of neglect. There were also multiple poorly patched areas on the walls, indicating past damage that was never properly repaired. Overall, the room felt extremely run-down. It was only barely worth the low rate we paid. If we’d known about the condition beforehand, we definitely would’ve chosen a different place. For travelers looking for cleanliness and comfort, this property isn’t recommended.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central
The staff went above and beyond with their friendly and welcoming attitude—truly made the experience special. The hotel was spotless, well-maintained, and had a great flow throughout. I especially loved the happy hour—it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Clean rooms, excellent service, and an inviting atmosphere make this place stand out. If I could rate it higher than 10, I definitely would. A must-stay for anyone visiting Austin!

It’s an ideal choice if you’re looking for a relaxed getaway with easy access to everything Austin has to offer. Definitely worth returning to.
