I stayed at this hotel for five days in October 2024 and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is perfect—equally close to both the Summer Garden and the Tauride Garden, and it’s just a 5-7 minute walk to the nearest metro station, making city exploration super convenient. The rooms are small and the renovation shows its age, but the bed is outstanding—comfortable mattress, soft pillows, and a practical wardrobe make up for any shortcomings. Breakfast is simple but offers three solid options, which is great for different tastes. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, no buffering or dropouts. The staff are friendly and helpful—on my last day, they even allowed me to check out for free at 2 PM since there were no other arrivals that day. They seem completely disengaged from guest needs. I’ve seen them take a 30-minute break together, leaving the front desk completely unattended—meaning guests couldn’t check in or out without waiting. Multiple times, no one was around at all. Questions go unanswered, and there’s zero willingness to assist. The phone sits idle on the counter, but nobody ever picks it up. It’s hard to understand how the management allows such poor service standards. For travelers who value responsiveness and hospitality, this property might not be worth it.
