I don’t usually book B&Bs, but this one truly exceeded my expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming and offered great local tips on where to eat and what to do nearby. Right behind the property is a small street perfect for breakfast, and just a short walk gets you to Wangjiazhen East Metro Station—only 3 stops to reach Hankou River Street, which is full of charm and shops. The building’s ground floor opens directly into Taikoo Li, with McDonald’s and Chayanyue Se right there, and crossing the pedestrian bridge leads straight to Wansongyuan, where we tried Bali Lobster, Abao Steamed Bun, and Feifei Seafood—all fantastic. The room itself was spacious, perfect for families, with a large bathroom featuring a smart toilet. Cleanliness was top-notch; housekeeping came daily and kept everything fresh and tidy. My kids had a blast throughout the stay, and I appreciated how convenient and well-located the place was. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Wuhan—great value, great vibe, and super friendly staff.

However, if you're arriving by car, don’t just type in the hotel name directly into your GPS—doing so will lead you down a narrow alleyway that’s tricky to navigate. Instead, aim for the hotel entrance from Zhangzhidong Avenue to avoid confusion. Also worth noting: not all rooms have river views. I booked a non-riverside room on my first day, but after upgrading and requesting a riverside view for my second night, the view was absolutely worth it. So definitely specify ‘riverside view’ when booking. Overall, the hotel delivers excellent value with its location, service, and comfort—highly recommend for travelers visiting Wuhan.

To my delight, I was able to check in right away upon arrival—no waiting, no hassle. I entered through the restaurant entrance, where a very friendly staff member warmly guided me to the front desk. Later, I noticed there’s actually another main entrance just ahead that bypasses the dining area—much more convenient if you're arriving with luggage. Because I arrived early, I got incredibly lucky: the front desk agent upgraded me to a 10th-floor room with a stunning view of the Yellow Crane Tower—absolutely worth every penny! At night, when the lights came on, the iconic red tower lit up against the silver silhouette of the surrounding buildings, creating a breathtaking scene right from my window. No need to go out for perfect photos—just open the curtains and snap away. Even better? The room came equipped with a projector that connected seamlessly to my phone—perfect for streaming videos from Bilibili. I spent the whole day after breakfast lounging in bed, curtains drawn, watching shows until 12:40 PM—pure bliss. And the breakfast? Absolutely outstanding. A hearty bowl of spicy beef noodle soup with big chunks of tender beef, fresh honeydew melon cut into generous slices, and two standout treats: a soft, fragrant date cake and an enormous, generously filled cream puff bursting with filling.
