The rooftop pool is deep enough (130 cm) for families and friends to enjoy comfortably—perfect for kids and adults alike. The pool bar and gym are open 24/7, so I could unwind with a drink in the evening while chatting with friends, soaking in the relaxed vibe. Next to the hotel, there’s a stunning-looking rooftop castle building with afternoon tea available—regrettably, our schedule was too tight to try it, but definitely on my list for next time. The gym is well-equipped, and I loved doing a pre-bed strength session—really satisfying. Hot water pressure is excellent, rooms are generously sized, and the bathroom amenities feel premium. The bathtub can easily fit two people, perfect for a romantic soak. I booked the package including breakfast and dinner, and the breakfast buffet was incredible—wide variety, fresh, and filling. After a full day out exploring, returning around 8–9 PM for dinner felt like a treat. Dinner is served as a set meal with options, and I appreciated that they offered non-spicy alternatives when I mentioned I couldn’t eat spicy food due to a sore throat. Not only did they adjust the menu the next day, but they also added three new main dishes—now offering six choices total. The service was prompt, thoughtful, and truly reflects the W standard. Special thanks to the Chinese-speaking front desk staff who relayed my request to the chef so quickly. The doorman was not only handsome but incredibly attentive, always greeting guests with a smile and offering helpful suggestions. Overall, this stay delivered exceptional value with all-you-can-eat breakfast, top-tier service, and a memorable atmosphere. If you're visiting Bangkok, I highly recommend giving W Bangkok a try—it made my trip unforgettable.

My wife and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a three-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, and it truly turned into a memorable experience. While the hotel isn’t the most modern in appearance, the room was exceptionally luxurious and well-maintained—offering all the comfort and amenities we could ask for. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, especially the chef’s daily special, which never failed to impress and always made our day feel extra special. The location was excellent—just steps away from major shopping malls and top attractions, making it easy to explore the city without hassle. There was only one minor hiccup during our stay: for one evening, the shower and all taps only delivered hot water, regardless of how we adjusted the settings. However, the maintenance team responded quickly—within about 15 to 20 minutes, the issue was resolved, and their professionalism made the situation feel completely manageable. Despite that small glitch, the overall experience was outstanding. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made our anniversary feel truly unique and romantic. We’re already planning to return for future celebrations. Highly recommended for couples or anyone seeking a refined, relaxing getaway in Bangkok.

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient — a boat runs every 30 minutes to Icon Siam and the metro station, and the return trip is just as easy. That said, during peak hours, boarding can get chaotic with crowds, and many guests simply hop on without checking their room cards — which, by the way, is completely free. If you'd prefer a taxi to Icon Siam or Chinatown, it's only around $30 RMB. While the property has seen some years, the rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and the breakfast spread offers solid variety. Overall, this is a top-tier choice for anyone looking for comfort, views, and great access in central Bangkok.

Plus, the 23rd-floor fitness center and swimming pool are top-notch. The pool opens around 6 AM, which is ideal if you're an early riser wanting a refreshing swim before hitting the streets. Clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed—this hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and service. Definitely worth every penny and I’ll be back.

One minor note: the entrance felt slightly damp upon arrival—adding a dehumidifier might help. I didn’t book breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but the hallway ceilings could use a refresh.
