Upon checkout, we received a thoughtful gift set, but there was one thing that concerned me: the hand cream looked exactly like jelly and was stored right next to the snacks. I accidentally inhaled a little of it while on the taxi ride back—seriously freaked out! Thankfully, after checking online, it seemed harmless, and I felt fine by the end of the day. But if a child had eaten it by mistake, that could be dangerous. Definitely recommend switching to a tube-style hand cream instead of the jelly-like packaging for safety reasons. With no high-rises blocking the skyline, the open view of low-rise buildings filled the room with natural light during the day, creating a bright, uplifting atmosphere. It truly lifted our mood from the moment we woke up. For the price and location, this is one of the best value stays we’ve had in Shanghai.

After confirming I was a guest, he immediately took my luggage and carried it inside, guiding me through check-in with a friendly smile. Despite arriving during peak check-in time around 3 PM, there was no chaos or long lines—everything was smooth and efficient. Even more impressive? My bags never touched my hands again—they were taken straight up in the elevator to my room. That’s what true luxury service looks like. Special shoutout to Guest Experience Manager Billy Liang, who went above and beyond when he learned about my parents’ anniversary visit. He personally delivered a birthday cake, arranged a reservation at the rooftop Longfeng Hall, and even made sure they enjoyed live classic jazz music at the hotel bar. He even snapped a sweet photo for them to cherish. My parents were truly touched and said it was one of the most memorable trips of their lives.
