This is hands down the most incredible jungle hotel I've ever stayed at—no exaggeration. The moment you step onto the property, you're immersed in a serene, lush tropical paradise. Free bikes and kayaks let you explore the surrounding rainforest and crystal-clear waters at your own pace, and the cenote adventure tours are unforgettable. While there's only one restaurant nearby (and prices are a bit on the high side), the food quality and setting make it worth it—especially dining by the pool at sunset. The whole experience feels special, authentic, and deeply relaxing. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of adventure, this place delivers everything. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa
The resort overall was an excellent experience—beautiful setting, great location, and friendly staff. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Several restaurants only opened on a rotating basis, with just two available daily, so we couldn’t try all the dining options. That said, it’s disappointing for a property of this caliber. More concerning was the cleanliness issue near our room—guests from the adjacent unit kept ordering meals, and leftover food was left in the hallway for days. A fork remained on the stairs for four full days with no one picking it up. The poolside snack bar served burgers and light bites for one day but was completely closed for two others while we were at the pool. Instead of service, we found scattered food remnants where birds were feeding, and no staff appeared to clean up. Only late in the afternoon did someone show up to collect the trash—but they didn’t even wipe down the counters or clean the grills. These lapses are hard to overlook for a resort that markets itself as top-tier. Despite these shortcomings, the rest of the stay was fantastic. With tighter operational oversight, this place could easily be flawless.

Staying at Azura Boutique Hotel was an absolute delight, especially the two-bedroom apartment which felt like a spacious home away from home. From the moment we walked in, the air-conditioned living area welcomed us with generous space—two sofas and a large dining table for six fit perfectly into this open, airy room. The TV worked flawlessly, and I appreciated being able to plug in my USB device. Free Wi-Fi was strong and reliable throughout our stay. Both bedrooms were comfortably air-conditioned, with plush beds and pillows that made for excellent sleep. Each room came with its own en-suite bathroom featuring powerful showers and 24-hour hot water—no cold surprises here. There’s also a well-stocked vanity with extra toiletries, a chest of drawers, and a built-in wall unit with ample storage for clothes and luggage. Even better, there’s an additional drawer space for anything else you might bring along. Plus, fresh towels, clean bedding, and a safe were provided—storage wasn’t an issue at all. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook or self-cater: gas stove, fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, cups, and a coffee machine with complimentary pods and tea bags delivered daily. Though a kettle would’ve been nice, everything else was top-notch. What really stood out was the daily cleaning—towels, linens, soaps, shampoos, toilet paper, lotions, and kitchen surfaces were all refreshed every day. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the smaller one-bedroom unit (no kitchen), but it was still very spacious and well-appointed with AC, Wi-Fi, TV, mini-fridge, coffee machine, and even a fold-out sofa bed when needed. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just 200 meters from Tulum’s main street, with a local Oxxo store right across the road. The rooftop features two charming little plunge pools and is the only designated smoking area—perfect for relaxing with a drink while enjoying the view. Staff spoke limited English but were always friendly and eager to help, whether arranging taxis or planning excursions. Yes, the price is on the higher side—around £170–200 per night for the two-bedroom, and £140–150 for the single bedroom—but honestly, it was worth every penny. This place feels special, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly well-maintained. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and a touch of luxury in Tulum.

She gives her all with a rare blend of physical precision and spiritual presence; you don’t often meet someone so authentically connected to their practice. The yoga and massage pavilion is intimate, beautifully designed, and feels almost magical. The rooms themselves were another highlight—plush beds, charming little decks, and the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor showers. I loved the overall atmosphere and sense of space in each room. The food was delicious too, though the background music occasionally clashed with the peaceful vibe. Still, it’s great that Kai Tulum is right next to Ikal, creating a seamless, complementary experience. This place offers something special—a quiet retreat where nature, wellness, and comfort come together effortlessly.
