Right downstairs are some legendary local eateries: Baihua Desserts, Dayang Soup, and Taoyuan Claypot Rice—all of which delivered authentic Cantonese flavors that far surpass anything I’ve had in Beijing. Honestly, this trip reminded me why Guangzhou is truly a food lover’s paradise. Even though it’s tucked away in an older residential neighborhood, the host has done an amazing job with the interior design—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. Stepping inside instantly calms your mind after a busy day. My favorite part? The spacious balcony. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy morning coffee, or unwind with a drink under the evening sky—serene despite being in the middle of the city bustle.
