A large TV and reliable Wi-Fi (after an initial tech hiccup, it worked smoothly throughout) added to the comfort. Both bedrooms face the back of the building, making them wonderfully quiet, and the beds were very comfortable—even if slightly on the softer side, which is really just a minor quibble at this level. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need: clean appliances, including a KitchenAid mixer, and even a welcome kit with coffee, tea, sugar, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, and towels. One small note: the windows were a bit drafty, but likely due to the nearby heating unit rather than poor insulation. We were warmly greeted by the owner’s mother, who showed us around. Right around the corner is a fantastic döner place—more restaurant than food stand—with friendly staff and generous portions.
