Staying at Gran Via Alsancak was a great experience overall. The room was spacious, clean, and had a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The minimalist design felt very natural and eco-friendly—perfect for a relaxing getaway. I stayed for two nights; the first evening was a bit noisy due to Izmir’s lively nightlife below, but by the second day, everything was quiet and peaceful. The bed and bedding were excellent—super comfortable and perfectly fitted, making for a restful sleep. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the area, just a 3-5 minute walk to the Aegean Sea. You don’t have a direct sea view, but you can still feel the refreshing sea breeze. The only downside is the lack of an elevator and the narrow staircase, which can be tricky with luggage. Still, it’s a minor issue given how well-located and charming the hotel is. If you're visiting Izmir, this place is definitely worth considering.

Stayed at Susuzlu Atlantis Hotel through the platform and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Staff were incredibly polite and always greeted us with warm smiles, making the stay feel personal and welcoming. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated in the heart of the city—just a 20-minute walk to the Clock Tower and Alsancak, ideal for exploring local cafes, shops, and attractions on foot. If I’m traveling solo again, this is definitely the hotel I’d choose. A great balance of comfort, convenience, and value—highly recommend for anyone visiting Izmir.
Majura Hotel Business
The overall experience was good, and the room service was excellent. However, the spa is extremely overpriced, and the massage quality was terrible. I paid 100 euros for a luxury massage, but ended up receiving a very low-quality treatment. To make matters worse, they actually injured my ankle during the session—I'm still recovering two weeks later. For that price, there are definitely much better massage options out there. I won’t be returning to this spa under any circumstances.

The furniture is plain and minimal, and the oversized ventilation grilles in the bathroom are a major issue—both audible and visible from the next room. You can clearly hear and even see into the adjacent unit, which seriously compromises privacy and comfort. It's disappointing for a property positioned at this level, and I’d expect better attention to detail in design and guest experience.
