Grand Hotel Bonanno

Staying at Grand Hotel Bonanno was an absolute delight from start to finish. The rooms are spacious, with excellent soundproofing—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The bedding is top-quality, and the bathroom features a smart wet/dry separation layout, complemented by a well-stocked mini-bar and intuitive smart room controls. The lobby has a modern, elegant design, and the elevators run smoothly, making access effortless. On-site parking is convenient, and there are thoughtful accessibility features throughout the hotel. Amenities like the pool, fully equipped fitness center, meeting rooms, and a dedicated kids’ play area make it ideal for families or business travelers. Service stands out—staff are warm, attentive, and respond quickly to any request. Whether it was checking in or resolving a minor issue, they handled everything professionally and efficiently. Cleanliness is outstanding: fresh linens are changed frequently, all surfaces are thoroughly sanitized, and there’s no lingering odor. Safety measures are comprehensive, including up-to-date fire systems, 24/7 surveillance, emergency protocols, and strong privacy protection. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, steps away from public transit, and just a short walk from major attractions like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Breakfast is a highlight—rich buffet with a great variety of both international and local options, all freshly prepared. With such high-end facilities, impeccable service, and a prime location, the value for money is truly exceptional. I can’t recommend this hotel enough—it’s a must-visit for anyone visiting Pisa.

Grand Hotel Golf

We just wrapped up our six-day stay at this incredible hotel in Pisa, and it was absolutely unforgettable. We opted for the full-board package (drinks not included), and honestly, we left feeling a little heavier—well worth it! Every meal was delicious, especially the first courses. The menu offered an excellent variety of seafood and land dishes, catering to every taste. Our maître d’ Gabriele will forever be in our hearts—he’s charming, professional, and truly made us feel welcome. His team was exceptional: always smiling, attentive, and genuinely warm. The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding—there was always a fresh, clean scent in the air. The pool is spacious, and the beach is well-equipped. While the sea was a bit choppy, it added a fun element for our little one, as we played in the waves and laughed through the splashes. There’s no on-site entertainment, but just a short walk away is a fantastic amusement park that kept the kids thrilled all day long. The rooms are a bit dated, but they’re huge and spotless—perfect for families. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you ever get the chance, come here at least once in your life—especially for the food. It’s simply unforgettable.

Hotel Galilei

Staying at Hotel Galilei was an absolute delight. Located in the heart of Pisa, it's just a short walk from the Leaning Tower and all the city's main attractions—perfect for exploring on foot. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with clean, spacious rooms and excellent amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering helpful tips and local recommendations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies. Everything about this stay felt premium, yet the price was surprisingly fair. A 10/10 experience—I’d happily book again without hesitation.

Hotel la Pace

Hotel la Pace is an absolute gem in Pisa! The location is perfect—just a short 5-minute walk from the central train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and beyond. The front desk staff were warm, efficient, and always ready to help with any request. I was especially impressed by the breakfast—fresh, delicious, and well-prepared, setting the tone for a great day. The room itself was cozy and inviting, with clean, modern touches and excellent comfort. Even the housekeeping team went above and beyond with their friendly attitude and attention to detail. Every aspect of the stay felt thoughtfully curated. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a welcoming experience. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pisa.

Villa Gini

Just a short walk from the city center, this charming guesthouse offers spacious and spotless rooms. The family-run staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight—rich buffet spread served in a peaceful little garden courtyard, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. Despite its intimate, family-operated vibe, everything runs smoothly and efficiently. We truly enjoyed every moment here and would absolutely recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a cozy, authentic stay in Pisa.

Bed and Breakfast Sognando Verso la Torre

We stayed at this charming bed and breakfast for one night with my two daughters, and we couldn’t have been happier. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Piazza dei Miracoli, the main street Borgo Stretto, and convenient parking just outside the ZTL zone. The hosts were incredibly helpful, offering great advice on where to park and how to navigate the city. Our room was clean, well-sized, and perfect for our family. What really stood out was their warm hospitality—they went above and beyond to share local tips and even helped us arrange meals at their nearby café, which offers affordable and tasty options for breakfast and lunch. Everything about the stay felt thoughtfully arranged. If you're visiting Pisa and want a cozy, central base with excellent service and cleanliness, this place is absolutely worth considering.

B&B Toscana

I stayed at B&B Toscana in Pisa, and while the location is convenient—close to the city center and easy to reach by public transit—the property feels outdated for the price. I’ve stayed in five-star accommodations before that were more comfortable and better maintained. The breakfast was limited in variety, and everything seemed like it came from a supermarket—nothing special or fresh. Cleanliness was average, which is expected for a place of this age and style. Honestly, I wouldn’t choose this again unless I needed a no-frills base near the historic area. It’s not bad for a quick stop, but don’t expect much beyond basic comfort.

Il Dolce Sospiro

We stayed at this B&B based on the photos that showed a room with a hot tub—only to find out there was no such thing upon arrival. The misleading advertising alone was already unacceptable. Another issue: there is an outdoor pool, yes, but it requires advance booking two days in advance, and this wasn’t clearly stated anywhere. Accessing both the main gate and our room required codes, which my partner had saved on her phone. Unfortunately, her phone broke unexpectedly, leaving us locked out with no way in. With no front desk staff available, we rang the doorbell for help—and were met with an immediate, aggressive response from the owner. Her behavior was incredibly rude and unpleasant. This kind of treatment has no place in any hospitality setting. The management completely ruined the entire experience. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

Hotel Astor

We stayed at this small 2-star hotel in Pisa with our family (2 adults and 1 teenager) for several nights, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room, designed for four guests, was functional and clean—featuring a double bed, a bunk bed, and a compact bathroom with a shower. Nothing fancy, but everything worked well and the daily cleaning made a big difference. Compared to some harsher reviews online, we found the hotel delivered exactly what you’d expect for its category: simplicity and efficiency. The front desk is only open in the morning, but staff were always friendly and helpful. What really stood out was the location—everything you need is within walking distance, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa is just a 15-minute stroll away. Perfect for exploring the city without needing a car. A quick tip: if you’re arriving by car, be sure to notify the hotel in advance. The hotel sits in a monitored zone with license plate scanning, and failing to declare your vehicle could result in a hefty fine—around €100. Parking options are limited: about €15 per night outside, or €20 inside. The hotel will collect your license plate details for city registration. In short, this was a satisfying stay at a no-frills hotel that excels in location. Highly recommended for travelers who value convenience over luxury and want to see Pisa on foot.

Window to the Tower

The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa and very convenient for exploring the city center. The view from the room is fantastic, and the area is full of charm. However, the service was a major letdown. There was no front desk staff during check-in, and calls went unanswered for hours—after nearly 30 attempts and a wait of about four hours, someone finally responded. It’s frustrating to arrive at a hotel expecting a smooth experience and be left hanging. Despite the excellent location and great views, the lack of basic hospitality really affects the overall impression. Hope they can improve communication and guest support in the future.

Ai 4 Elementi

Located just a short distance from the central train station and airport, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience for travelers. Although our stay was brief and we didn’t get to enjoy the garden as much as we’d hoped, the overall experience was excellent. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, going the extra mile to make us feel at home. Their local tips were spot-on, helping us navigate the city with ease. Clean rooms, great location, and warm hospitality—this place truly stands out. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to fellow travelers looking for comfort and charm in Pisa.

Holiday Pisa Gare

We stayed at Holiday Pisa Gare from July 25 to 30 as a family of four, including our friends and a young child. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the train station, making it super easy to get around by foot or public transit. The staff were welcoming and gave us a quick tour with clear explanations. Bathrooms and toilets are shared in common areas, which some guests might find inconvenient, but the morning cleaning team does a solid job keeping things tidy. It’s expected that guests help maintain cleanliness after use—no big issue for us. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable, especially when sharing the space with other travelers. There’s also the option to take your meal back to your room if you prefer more privacy. The young woman working breakfast was kind and helpful throughout. Our room was functional and comfortable: a good-sized bed, a fold-out sofa for the kid, plus a TV and desk. The only downside during summer was the lack of air conditioning—closing windows didn’t help much with street noise. But since we left early and returned late every day, and our main goal was just a clean, quiet place to sleep and freshen up, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, we found this stay very budget-friendly and well worth it. If we ever return to Pisa, we’d definitely choose this place again—especially for value without sacrificing basic comfort.
