Staying at Faranda Collection Medellín was an absolute delight — a perfect blend of modern style, stunning views, and thoughtful hospitality. From our room to the rooftop breakfast and bar area, every angle offered breathtaking city vistas, especially during sunrise and sunset. The hot tub and spa floor were equally impressive, with panoramic views that made relaxation even more enjoyable. We appreciated the complimentary water and welcome non-alcoholic drinks, and the free 15-minute massage was a lovely touch — we upgraded it to 45 minutes, which was absolutely worth it. Just an 8-minute walk to Santafé Mall (with an underground grocery store), everything we needed was within reach. The fully stocked fridge and bar with paid items were super convenient for late-night snacks or drinks. Breakfast was a highlight — a generous buffet featuring fresh fruits, hot soups, and a wide variety of options. Staff at breakfast and evening bar were attentive and friendly. Special shout-out to Tatiana and Andres, and also to a chef or kitchen team member who kindly checked in on us while we were just browsing — such a small gesture but truly memorable. This place truly delivers on comfort, service, and atmosphere. A standout experience I’ll definitely return to.

The shower was fantastic with strong water pressure and consistent temperature, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Medellín. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. From the warm welcome to the attention to detail, every aspect of the stay felt thoughtfully curated. It’s rare to find such a welcoming, well-run place with such a great vibe. The location of Purple Monkey Hostel is absolutely perfect—super convenient for getting around, whether you're walking or taking public transit. The showers are clean, well-maintained, and have great water pressure, which makes for a refreshing morning routine. The beds are incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff at reception—they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and Provenza is just a 10-minute walk away—perfect for dinner or a casual drink. Everything about this place feels thoughtfully put together, from the cleanliness to the vibe. It’s a fantastic value, and I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!

My stay at this hostel was extremely disappointing. The staff were unprofessional and unreliable, and I witnessed multiple incidents including fights and criminal activity right within the premises. I had to check out early for my own safety and even ended up assisting with a police investigation due to the lack of security. The management showed no concern for guest well-being, making the experience not only uncomfortable but also stressful. This place is not safe, not worth the price, and I would strongly advise against staying here.

Located in the heart of El Poblado’s Patio Bonito neighborhood, Lady Mom Hostal offers a clean and cozy atmosphere that feels more like a home away from home. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel personal and comfortable. While there’s no kitchen or shared lounge area to relax in, the highlight is definitely the excellent café right below the hostel—affordable, well-kept, and perfect for morning coffee or a quick bite. That said, one major drawback is the lack of clear signage. It’s nearly impossible to spot the entrance at night, especially when the café closes. We recommend asking locals for directions or using GPS navigation to avoid confusion. Despite this small issue, the location is quiet yet central, and the overall value makes it a solid choice for travelers looking for a peaceful, authentic stay in Medellín.

The hotel’s location is convenient, just a short metro ride from the city center. Overall, it's a perfect blend of comfort, service, and value—definitely a top choice if you're visiting Medellín.

I absolutely loved staying at Orbe Hotel! The location is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that there's a bar right next to the hotel that stays open late with loud music—this might be an issue if you're sensitive to noise or prefer a quiet evening. I’d recommend requesting a higher floor for better sound insulation. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d definitely stay here again. Great value for money!
